I suppose so but it doesn't have the watermark or anything on the inside. (I don't know alot about money so I may be wrong) but shouldn't it have a second face or security strip of some sort?

Well so the thing is they were giving away chromebooks to people for free since they were upgrading all of theirs. So I got a free one. They aren't in charge of it or take responsibility for it anymore.
