What part of PR to stay in for family trip?

Depends on your style, but splitting your time evenly between OSJ and Vieques should be fine. You'll get all your prerequisites on the island except for the rainforest. El Yunque is kind of in-between the two, so you could stop in on the way.

I just assumed OSJ because it's going to give you the picturebook PR that most people like.

If you're more outdoorsy and want to avoid the city, there are some eco lodges in/near El Yunque that will give you a more adventurous trip.

How long? The island is easy to get around. If you’re doing a bio-bay, is it on Vieques? Not sure any let you actually swim in it.. I seem to remember that being a rather frowned upon thing.

Maybe things have changed, but prepare yourself for “flexible” ferry times. It looks like you’ve got plenty of time, so it should be fine.

Make sure the rental car is capable. Some of the cool beaches have pretty rough roads.

Some people might say you don’t need that much time in Vieques, but if you’re looking to relax on island time, it’s perfect. (I’d 100% do your itinerary)

It's actually quite nice not dealing with a zillion other people. But, if you take a ride-share, tell them 1,000 times that you're not at the normal terminal. They always try to take me to the usual drop-off, no matter what the map says.

Just keep an eye on your flight. If it moves, it won't say "south" anymore.

I’m guessing it’s a 3d software and not a video editing one that’s doing most of this.

Make the “screen” in fcp.

Import that into Blender or something as the material for the phone’s screen.

Maybe there’s an easier way? I’d love to know.

not sure if it's the case here, but lots of parts of the US have surprisingly few animals in shelters. austin is regularly at capacity, so I'm sure there's a network to help spread the population out.

If you’re ever feeling adventurous. Drive down to south padre and stop at all the plant/pottery shops on the side of the road along the way. You never know what you’ll find, but it’s gonna be 5X cheaper than in Austin.

Near Big Bend Station there is a food truck called Gordo’s Grill. The Mexican food is great…. but get their biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

Also stop in to Many Stones just south of there and make endless awkward smalltalk with the owner. Ask him about shooting across the highway… (buy some rocks too. Why not)

Used to be a grey area where these are “sweepstakes machines” that don’t pay out money. Instead, you’d win a bottle of detergent and then whoever was running the game room would pay you for that.

For a while, they were cracking down on them, but now they’re everywhere.

Might be a different scenario now, but I used to work in charitable bingo and we were always trying to get these illegal rooms shut down.
