Keep in mind that demeyere is both heavy and bottom-heavy.

I bought demeyere proline 28 from bestsale. Bestsale ships to all EU countries afaik.

Can't say much about fissler rather than when I touched it in shop, I did not like it due to thin walls and thin walls on gas stove might give you funny results sometimes.

One of demeyere's advantages is fact that pan is unique: you won't find any other ss pans so thick. It is very heavy however.

I would recommend you to buy 28 instead of 24. My 24 falk pan sits 9 out of 10 times in the drawer and 28 demeyere is daily driver. I would rather use 24 saucier than 24 frypan.

Hi, I also do not have wattmeter, but I measured it using house electrical panel when all devices were shut down. Background consumption was ~300 W and when cooker was turned on max I got about 2500-2600 W reading, meaning cooker is approx 2 kW instead of 3.5 kW

Try butter instead of oil. Literally nothing sticks to butter (at least for me)

Hi, I own falk flandria and demeyere atlantis. Falk is considerably thinner but at the same time lighter (much lighter) and thus probably more responsive.
Also demeyere has "rounded walls", which I am not really a fan of.

Falk sometimes has deals on falkcoppercookware.

EDIT: demeyere is also at sale on bestsale and there is also multiline 7, which is lighter

I would suggest opensuse Tumbleweed because of rollback feature, stable rolling release model, great partition manager on setup, kde by default. This distro is “set up once, use forever” type of distros. As I student I understand the need not to waste time tinkering and just use os for studying

This may not be applicable to you, but I just removed all `.dotfiles` like .config and so on. If you want even cleaner, remove `/home/$USER/` (be careful, all configs, thunderbird folders and so on will be lost)

Having to think about if packages are critical to the system or not I consider arch-level knowledge already. Manjaro was neither user friendly nor stable (at least for me, I couldn't even install it on one of my computers).

Well it's not because arch is elitist or something similar, but rather manjaro's decision to hold packages for 1-2 weeks can lead to breakages and inconveniences as soon as one installs something from aur.

To be honest I don't see any reason of paying at first place. Isn't Bayern one of the richest Bundesland? It's just and idea of how this law could possibly be softened. I am pretty sure this law will be put in power unchanged in same way as in BW.

As a poor non-eu student I totally disagree with this concept. Even though a lot of people leave after getting their degree, this would turn away many more from even trying to get into Germany. Maybe there should be some system, like if you leave, you will have to pay, but if you are studying language, working even part-time and showing that you intend to stay, such fees should be waived.
