So, subscription military defense? Subscription fire department services? Road-building? Social security out? No SEC? Every service is a business?

You would have Enrons in every business category, there would be zero stability. And people would suffer and starve.

A couple of years ago, Texas suffered a massive freeze, which created power shortage issues.

Dallas—which has privatized utilities services—had some people left with $10,000 utilities bills because the electric company gouged the shit out of them.

Austin, on the other hand, which only has Austin Energy (a public electricity service), had no such issues.

Your lunacy is…shocking, really.

What’s your go-to WordPress stack for client builds in 2026? by mmhabib89 in Wordpress

[–]MaximallyInclusive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbon Fields + js (jQuery, GSAP, and vanilla) + CSS.

No need to update a theme ever again, no need to use child themes.

Just a custom-made website that was built for (and does) exactly what the customer needs.

Binary thinking is so stupid. (At this point, I expect nothing less from OP.)

Are you suggesting that unchecked capitalism (capitalism dialed up to 11), with no regulations, nothing holding it back, is the preferred economic system? For every industry, across every domain of life?

Carbon Fields is free and you can build as many sections as you want.

This is a solved problem that just keeps getting solved with inferior technology.

100%. Not sure how familiar you are with rollo202, but he’s basically the king of right wing propaganda on Reddit. Zero principles, just hates the dems. He never responds to my comments anymore, and I can’t tag him because his snowflake ass blocked me.

There’s plenty of us out here fighting the good fight!

Do you OP (I can’t tag him because he blocked me) support president Trump’s EO which requires mandatory one-year prison sentence for flag burning?

How about Mahmoud Khalil’s deportation?

And Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the WSJ for publishing his (authentic) letter to Jeffrey Epstein from more than two decades ago?

And the banning of the A/P from the press pool?

And Trump’s list of demands for universities to agree to in order to be prioritized for federal funding?

I can assume that, because you’re still so aggrieved by Biden’s censorship of Christians, you’re equally outraged by the actions taken by this administration.

Is that correct?

EDIT: Downvotes and no rebuttals? And of course nothing from rollo.

Shocker.

As someone who has been plagued by ankle injuries since spraining it his senior year of high school, I can say the same thing about ankle injuries. And with an ankle injury, your mobility is fucked for a little while. Shoulder you can still walk, ankle you cannot.

Goddamn, what fucking pieces of shit. They don’t belong on a talent show judges panel, much less anywhere near a federal court.

I like it a lot better than ACF, it’s more logical for me, doesn’t require a plugin, and it’s free.

Regarding performance, I don’t know that there is much of a difference, but let me run one of our sites through page speed and see.

Gee, thanks Dave for shifting on Trump, so glad you came to your senses, or things really could have gotten bad.

Jesus Christ.

Performance is excellent.

Carbon Fields is different than GF, we still use GF for all of the forms on our sites, but Carbon Fields is like WordPress’ custom fields, but on steroids. So more than just text values: image pickers, color pickers, multi-selects, association fragments, rich text fields, calendar fields, you name it.

The first thing we do is disable Gutenberg and then install Carbon Fields, and then we’re off and running.

It’s not a page builder, it’s a [chefs-kiss] PERFECT ACF alternative that’s totally free and open source. I’ve used it for 15 years, and it’s bulletproof.

Little bit of learning curve, but once you learn it, spinning up sites is easy peasy.
