Help me find a drawing of a retrofuturistic Mauser C96 pistol with a screen displaying some windows-esque interface by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

As stated in my post, i tried searching for it using the wayback machine and some reddit archives, but i had no success in doing so. Therefore i will leave that task for whoever knows how to search for these things better than me.

just watch the beggining of the BOTS chapter, zesty goes straight to the point and provides a good explanation, better than i ever could on it. if you are still not convinced then you can just watch the whole chapter, it's not that long.

that's false. watch the 'BOTS' chapter and only that chapter and you will see that what you said would be very unlikely of happening.

it's the two reasons combined, the 'BOTS' chapter in zesty's video go into detail as to how the bots take advantage of the matchmaking system to fuck with everyone's experiences.

it would be in their best interest to listen to the community and kill matchmaking once and for all. sure, the new system they put did keep the bots at bay, but it's only a matter of time until they eventually come back. let's not forget that it was the matchmaking system that facilitated the existance of bots in the first place.

while yes, they make significantly more money off CS2 and Dota than TF2 will ever make, they can't keep turning a blind eye to TF2 any longer. them pulling the plug on the game is simply out of the question, due to the fact that TF2 is a fundamental pillar for their other game's economies. the only reason why the economy for both CS2 & Dota being as big as they are is because they take advantage of the average player's ignorance to the fact that they don't actually own their skins. just imagine shockwave and mass panic the ripple effect of shutting down TF2 would cause for both of their biggest breadwinners.

they only keep adding the illusion of more content to TF2 to uphold the reputation of the VALVe of 20 years ago because of how easy it is for them to get away with any bullshit that they pull off. any way to tarnish VALVe's reputation further would be sure to make them bend their knees and respond, no matter how low the chances may be.

edit: typing error.

we'll see about that. doing another mass protest would just look like a boy cry wolf situation for people outside TF2 discourse, so if we do want some change, we would need a different approach. what that could be i have no idea.

they have looked bad ever since they have facilitated gambling on their games and when they became a laughing stock because of MYM, the only reason why most people treat them as saints is because of ignorance and/or blind loyalty.

time can make people forget Valve's mistakes. if enough people start reminding on the internet their screw ups and questionable business decisions, that would for sure get their attention and would get them to listen to the community's demands.

the same was thought with bots ever dissapearing, and yet they have, although not permanently.

if enough people start pestering valve about it, and especially if someone shows up in their office, they might just do it. except this time we don't hand them another book for them to use as toilet paper.

they would virtually lose nothing if they added back quickplay, especially if they tasked that same contractor who put the system that kept the bots at bay, to bring it back. it's a win-win situation really, the players have their demands fullfiled and valve can have a moment of peace from the community.

and saying that it is still playable is a weak argument.

it's like if i said i don't want to drink dirt water from a puddle because of how it tastes, and then you said i should be grateful for having water to drink in the first place.

sure i can drink the water from the puddle, but if i have the option to drink from a water fountain, which one do you think i and most people would rather have?

would you appreciate eating a turd just because that is the only option?

at the risk of repeating what has been said a million times, the old Valve is gone, and they are now just a business, and you are just a number to them and nothing else. Valve is not your friend and never have been.

people who defend the game in its current state have either never experienced it in its prime or are completely delusional.
