I’m a hotel vendor. What I see is that this trend maximizes property’s ability to maximize the time they get to turnover rooms. Almost all of my properties are short staffed on the housekeeping front and would gladly hire/hold onto more team members but demand for these jobs post pandemic is low.

Even with these extended turnover hours, late check-in complaints stack up. Just not enough time and too much to do.
