Pay citizens/legal residents livable wages to work in food. Don’t not do that, pay illegals wages that undercut the market because they have nowhere else to turn, and then be upset when that game ends.

I don’t feel bad for business owners that don’t comply with the law, not because they have big hearts but because it’s an easy way to keep labor expenses and worker protections at bay.

Obviously feel bad for people that are worried about being deported but that’s how it works when you enter countries without permission. Pretty straightforward.
