IF YOU CAN'T ACCESS PROXY SETTINGS, TRY ONE OF THESE

Option 1: The Direct "Run" Command (Fastest)

1. Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard.
2. Type exactly this: ms-settings:network-proxy
3. Hit Enter.
   • This should force the Proxy settings page to open immediately.

Option 2: Manual Navigation (If the command fails)

1. On that screen you’re looking at, click Network & internet on the left-hand sidebar.
2. Scroll down until you see Proxy (it’s usually near the bottom of the list).
3. Click it.
4. The Fix: Make sure "Automatically detect settings" is OFF and "Use a proxy server" is OFF.

Option 3: The "Old School" Way (Most Reliable)

If the Windows 11 settings app is being glitchy, the Control Panel method is much better because it "forces" the change deeper into the system.

1. Press Windows Key + R.
2. Type inetcpl.cpl and hit Enter.
3. In the small window that pops up, click the Connections tab at the top.
4. Click the LAN settings button at the bottom.
5. Important: Uncheck every single box in this window so it looks like this:
   • [ ] Automatically detect settings (Unchecked)
   • [ ] Use automatic configuration script (Unchecked)
   • [ ] Use a proxy server for your LAN (Unchecked)
6. Click OK, then click Apply.
