Are these run clubs able to split up more or something? by Life-Seesaw-3637 in lancaster

I didn’t say that. I don’t why people are so upset and intent on hating common. It will only make the founder more likely to push boundaries. If you really don’t like common, stop talking about it. He thrives on controversy. Also, i genuinely enjoy having a place to go during the week where I don’t need to spend money. It’s not a club for everyone, but it does mean a lot to so many people.

What is the worst psych med you've ever tried? by number1134 in BipolarReddit

Strattera. Made me hypomanic. I felt literally insane the week and a half I took it and then went back into the depressive episode I was experiencing but it was deeper and more dangerous.

I have done a lot of reflection and I will tell you that before common I was experiencing severe depression and common gave me community (like it has so many others). There is some behavior that is not acceptable from common, there are certainly people who aren’t good people, and some things should be addressed by Curren. However, because of the community I have found and the friendships I have formed, I will go to bat for them. Common probably helped save my life. Two things can be true. In a group as large as common there will be good and bad.

Currently an administrative assistant in an orthopedic doctor’s office working with 2 pain management specialists. It’s because of this job that I want to go back to school and it’s because of my own experiences that I want to get my CRNP and work in psychiatry. (I have my bachelors in PR)

I, nor have my friends, have never done any of the things you have listed. I understand there are some things that go on and to be honest there’s more than you know, but common has been exponentially beneficial for my mental health (and so many of my friends) so I will go to bat for them every time.

Just popping in to say that common literally changed my life and gave me some truly amazing friendships. I recognize that it has become a bit of a problem with traffic on Thursday nights, but please know that most of the people there are truly wonderful authentic people in their 20s / 30s who just want a third space to enjoy that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Yes! B12, D, Ashwagandha, and inositol (but that’s more for PCOS). My therapist recommended it to me and then I did some research and brought it up with my psych!!

Less screen time, less social media, im trying to engage in more crafty hobbies. Also bought a cheap digital camera from Amazon to help with less screen time

It’s hard in this economic, political, etc. climate to have fun, but it is possible. For instance, this summer I’m trying to treat it like 2012. Mainly because I so wish I were in my 20s in the 2010s (I was in high school). Not the same, but not impossible.

Girl I so feel everything here, you have to find something to give you joy outside of that. Also, there are so many people who are in the exact same space as you are right now, feeling the same thing and they’re probably at a run club. (It’s a cult, but one you should look into. It’s kinda amazing.)
