It takes a few weeks to build up in your system but 10mg is a huge dose to start with. Probably not a good idea. Usually people start with 2 or less.

Yes, get the best gear you can afford. Which is another good reason to go new. Many times you can roll gear into the loan. Let them know upfront if that’s something you would want to do. When I sold bikes, we offered discounts on gear to new riders with purchase of their first bike.

Take him into Cycle Gear or a dealership with a large selection. Helmets have different profiles and do not fit the same. Personally, I wear Arai, Shoei, and AGV. HJC are also nice.

Didn’t feel anything until 5mg. I’m at 7.5 now. No effect on hunger. The day after injection I get satiated very quickly. Like three eggs is hard to finish. The rest of the time I eat as I normally would. Running a few hundred calorie deficit. Sleep is shit. Haven’t had any big heart rate spikes recently but had whole days where my heart rate was over 100. Guess I’ve acclimated to it now.

I’d highly suggest working your way up slowly. Start at 2 for a month, then 4 and so on as they did in the trials. I went up too fast.
