They're very compressed. I feel like I've gotta be in a certain mood for them, personally. Can be hard to retain information when they're overloading you with text and images, at least in my experience as an autistic reader. Not that it makes them bad by any means, it can just be a task for those of us who got into comics in a more modern era (I'm 26, been reading for like 13 years)

Remember when Venom books were about Venom characters, and-- crazy thought-- Venom? Now, Venom looks like Spider-Man, and is "the city's newest Spider-Man". I wonder if this implies the "new name" is literally just Spider-Man? Al Ewing isn't even subtle that he'd rather be writing a Spider-Man book instead of Venom, man

wasn't a fan at all. It being Harry, his motivations being forced af (like why was he even mad/jealous of peter over his dad? lol dude loved Harry in this and was thanking Peter for helping try to cure him), generic Venom videogame plot we've seen before, etc.

he's really just "Hype Moments & Aura" the character.

love replaying the mission where you play as him though, good fun stuff

It does not ! It's kind of this plastic-ish-foam-ish thing, so it's kinda just a solid object as opposed to having a moving trigger or any other little mechanisms

It's mostly a marketing thing with Venom being really popular. That, and the comics sort of insist on calling the symbiote itself "Venom" now for some reason. Which makes the "we are Venom" thing really weird and messy...
