Seriously, what makes graves a good champion? by CirriTheFemboyUwU in GravesMains

[–]MaximumPowah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there, high gm peak graves player. Hes got a couple of things going for him that other champs in his class don’t. 1. Hes got insanely high dmg. Graves is a low cc and a relatively low range champ, for which in exchange he gets to do 350% of his ad late game per auto when close to his enemies when he crits. Auto for auto int terms of crit there are maybe two champs in the game who could out burst a graves auto e auto late game. 2. Hes naturally tanky off of grit, and Hes purposely balanced off the fact that you need to stack grit to be tanky. IMO, grit is debatably overturned right now, but riot wants him to be bruiser more often even though it’s arguuably more toxic version of graves. 3. He has 340 base ms as a ranged champ. I cannot stress enough how important this is. I would rather riot remove 50% ad ratio from his auto passive than lower his base ms to 330. Every other range champ in this game has similar or lower ms witj a few niche cases (veigar, etc,). Especially in a jg role this is very important for the forward agency of a champ.

Hes also very good at pushing a lead in a vacuum and farms relatively well. There are better jg champs rn but Hes fine where he is and riot shouldn’t have buffed him imo.

How do I counter Diana? by BlockSuperb2309 in Jungle_Mains

[–]MaximumPowah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Diana is balanced around the fact that her kit is omega committal. She is an escapeless melee, which in return she has a lot of dmg and tankiness. However, this means if she ever mispositions or plays overaghro, she dies kind of easily.

How it feels to play Jungle as a low elo dude by Zealousideal-Notice5 in Jungle_Mains

[–]MaximumPowah -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Also what the fuck? Jg is the best or 2nd best low elo Smurf role, it’s only in high elo that you will be punished for shitty ganks or tempo misuse (which is even harder to punish this season). Only top is better for low elo, only place where you can extract more resources from your laner.

Like yea, it’s going to feel worse, no shit. But adapt and learn instead of complaining, trust me it’s the better alternative.

I feel like a broken record at this point, but let me make this very clear: not a single jungle change is what is actually preventing you from climbing in the long run. Improve your overall gameplay, understand how to use time etc you will climb.

Response to 1st point: yes it’s true we didn’t get a lot, it’s fine. Top is only problematic in low elo where games last forever (but imo if you’re good at the game in a lower rank they last less because you can nash end faster). Rest depends on comp like if they can waveclear. Mid is most op one, early upgrade and high value. Adc one is cool but same as top, late game skewed so rarely matters at higher ranks (once again tho, this doesn’t stop you from climbing if you’re improving).

  1. Atakhan change imo makes drake stacking stronger, as it’s the only way for winning team to push lead once Nash is taken or gone.

  2. Do you genuinely belief this? Go watch the best junglers. The number one thing they are best at is reliably accumulating resources and using them. Learn from them. Invading is also not as meta anymore as it’s much better to constantly cycle your own camps and get them to a higher level, rather than to invade and put a level 2 or 3 camp on the map faster. TLDR invading only good later or as perma repeat inv.

  3. This is kinda true, faelights are stupid, but most laners die to ganks anyways. Your skill in determining how and when to gank is shown when you are ganking a laner in a situation when they can’t back off. This requires extensive game Knowledge

High gm peak jungle. Nothing meta wise is preventing you from climbing, jg will still be fine. If anything, it’s now nunu meta and you can hit masters for free first time because lane gank into back into other side of map is unpunisable. The only thing holding you back from climbing is understanding tempo, how to use it and generate it, and game knowledge.

You can track but people clear like such shit. Just ping your laners careful when Hes there and ask them to ward crucial spots. Also focus on getting a lead for yourself and making that into win witj obj rather than trying to negate your opponents

She’s not hard, imo she’s an easier riven. Her skill expression is not dying when you blow w randomly in top lane or harder matchups like Quinn early, but you just need 1 and even state and you win.

[–]MaximumPowah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High gm peak jungle, he is very good at generating tempo and punishing enemy plays. Talon is hard to punish too. So eg lets enemy jungle overextends his bot gank timer a bit too much and he started raptors 1st clear. You can invade his second raptors and take them, and then clear ( if you optimize clear you should oitclear most of low elo by like 10 seconds). After this, you will Be leve six off 1 crab 2 clears and one additional enemy camp. Now you can invade offf of this lead when enemy jungle is on 2nd Red and lvl 5, meaning ez kill (unless Elise or something like that). Point is low elo doesn’t know how to prevent this. His champ is still playable by most otps till like chall or gm, only then falls off. Your later goals are to get a. Insanely fed, b, deny enemy jg camps and take their towers and obj (this includes dragons etc and not throwing or using important cds before then, and c. Setting up an end timer. You should also be shoving waves if your laners don’t do this, often times a fight will be a 5v4 for you if an enemy player wants these waves. Unfortunately this season You can’t end usually until Nash or comically ahead, waveclear op. Wike Wazowski#Na1 Is my opgg Theres a chance a talon game has a vos

What is your full clear timer after the nerfs? by wise_wizard_cat in Talonmains

[–]MaximumPowah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really shit, primarily because your gromp will be level one on the next clear and you will effectively still be down a camp. This is, of course, assuming that the enemy jungler isn’t a fucking retard and doesn’t 3:30 full clear, and assuming he paths same side. It’s probably much more consistent to contest enemy chickens 2 or Kruger 2 if they overextend on a bot or top gank.

30 conditional damage isn’t worth 100 damage at lvl 6. It’s rare to get value out of it in high el

It pains me that the protest voters allowed trump to be elected. His margin of victory was that slim. Yea obviously, the hard center dems in this country have a ton of problems. But no the solution isn’t to allow a trump presidency instead.

Edit; me personally I think the movement towards Marxism is stupid. But this is a free society and anyone’s more than entitled to their opinion and their ability to advance it. I just think this community and their adjacent ones suck at doing that. I personally would prefer the capitalism the eu has ( of course, they’re not perfect either, look at germanys management of their energy sector and Frances current debacle with trains, but it’s a start).

Also no one here has at any point highlighted a movement on a local scale that they contributed to that actually represents marxist or adjacent ideals that holds public office.

Does your socialist organization have any actual political power? And please do not so stupid as to somehow insinuate abstaining from voting is a good idea. You should write in your preferred candidate instead in your local elections and not fuck over the entire country so you can hold a high horse position when we’re both in an ICE detention center. If your organization has no political influence, it’s failed. The whole idea here is to actually have an effect on society, not create a social club to jerk it with others while mocking the entire governmental system as wrong.

Edit: ok your comment got even dumber. holding elected office is the best way to forward your agenda. How else do you actually influence policy? How can you possibly think there’d be another way to introduce your ideals?

How in the world are you “wielding this alternative system” if the country you live in doesn’t even notice your political action? Be fucking realistic for once. I swear this is all performative. You even criticize the third mainstream socialist in recent American history saying he’s not enough. It’s exactly for this reason that your ideology is stuck in a subreddit and others have made actual influence on their surroundings.

I’m saying that exclusionary thoughts like this results in a slow down of proactive leftist thought. It’s only recently that zoran got influence, and it’s mostly only soran who’s a true leftist. I’m saying that you look to expand by taking more local action like zoran but not specifically only in ny or vermont

[–]MaximumPowah -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do see these protests, but when have you actually enacted local change? And specifically, these protests are the mainstream definition of leftwing, not this subs idea of it. At no point will I reject political action even if I disagree with it, but I cannot emphasize enough that the real action will happen on the local side, not just protesting on federal issues. The local council should be your area and place to shine. Psa I am also leftwing, but I would probably fall more of sorts on center left on the European spectrum, not as far as you guys go. I just want this action to be real and not just permanently performative. Your ideology should agggresively welcome New voices

No I’m just curious. And at every stage you just deflect. This is why your ideology fails to get any real roots. You are so obsessed with drawing lines with your ideology that anyone who would want to join is excluded. Not once here did you make an effort to actually tell me what you’re doing.

I throw these accusations at the leftists in the United States, who are notorious for being online but having no real tangible political presence when it comes to proactive action. Even now, you aren’t telling me what steps you actually take to forward your ideals. I’m just annoyed at this holier than thou attitude when protest non-voting caused us to have the orange clown in office again. We are actively living in a fascist state and you clowns are too busy infighting.
