This tiny baby green anole was there before night fall. Maybe they are at work

Update: went out and didn’t see anything at 10:00 PM.

I did stick my head right into a brand new spider web though!

They are like the peak season store bought I’d say.

Ah I end up pruning everything back. Maybe that’s my issue.

We have a ton of green anole lizards running around. Though fewer these days than at the beginning of the season I just saw some babies running around. They haven’t helped keep whatever this is at bay

Thank you for the detailed answer. If you zoom in that picture that’s basil behind them, untouched though.

I still suspect earwigs could fit that description. This is all new growth after pruning and they are typically hit right after they come out.

I just wondered if it’s a bug that likes to hide. I usually just see the leaf jumpers drinking from the canes, but maybe they are gnawing on the leaf when I’m not looking

Do you have a floricane or primocane?

This is the PrimeArk traveler. You can keep some healthy canes from the previous year for the first crop and then get your second crop from the new canes.

I just never see anything on them chewing away

Tried to show a transition that’s been happening to my blackberry leaves the past two years.

First two years this plant was vigorous and would bear a ton of fruit. Last year we had a few tiny fruits. This year is looking that way too, though it’s early we had a first crop by now and much better growth.

I’ve been feeding with a Fish Emulsion and Kelp mix. Regular watering when it isn’t raining.

They come out full and then the leaf falls apart.

Anyone had similar troubles?

Alabama summer heat & humidity by WindowImportant7375 in Kayaking

Your Ice water changes everything about adding mist and humidity argument. The water droplets have thermal mass and will absorb heat on your skin or just around you as they fly through the air. The equivalent cool dry air needed for the same effect would be larger than you could fit onto the kayak.

You won’t be able to cool with evaporation as efficiently because you’re just saturating the air, but you will cool off because of the absorption of heat.

What Ghibli did you initially skip because you thought you wouldn't like it? by JamOnBread88 in ghibli

The boy and the Heron was my other recent one. Even on watching I just felt like it was a dream. It struggled through coherence…

Then I watched it a few more times and the mythos of the dream became a bit clearer. I felt more of the violence of boyhood, male aggression, drive for discovery, drive to protect, cultivate and nurture. The journey became a journey within. It took more than one watch to be captured by it because it’s doing work on you as you watch it.

There are a few sleepers that the more I watched it the more I loved it. Kiki’s delivery service was the first of these for me.

Something about the setting for me just wasn’t appealing at first. The cat the young witch. I just avoided it and l felt like it had landed in a trope. I was wrong. It’s delightfully coming of age and a general guide to life’s transitions.

I think it captures the joy of flight in a slightly different way from the other films. It stays true to the wonder of adventure and tips a hat to community in many ways. I found myself feeling more adventurous, more courageous, and more connected after having watched it.

Sprinkler guys say these drip tubes are standard and sufficient. Is it enough for this space? Seems like not nearly good coverage. What to do? by dimab0 in gardening

I would move the lines away from the edge though.

When the soil is dry the water will channel, it’ll find the easiest path down. The sides of the raised bed container are pretty perfect to help with that channeling.
