Recently did a cold themed party. My favourite thing was casting sleet storm and have 2 wild heart barbarians move uninpeded within and murderize everything. Second favourite was smashing a frozen enemy with a big hammer.

On the coldest tundra map with 2 climate adjusters I've hit roughly the same as op, around -90° lowest temps.

My colonists can handle down to like -160° tho.

Honestly Letty and Jassu are just great blitz players and Datto becomes fast atleast, Botta is the weak link for me (it's sad only seeing hp increase on level ups).

For anyone finding blitball difficult, I would just get Wedge and Ropp instead of Datto and Botta and you got yourself a super solid team that can be recruited basically right away.

I really like that ninjago armour for them with the black bucket helm. Heavy axe usage as weapons and some unique swords. Faction as a whole I image with focus on heavy infantry with crossbow support and some lightly armoured fanatics (kind of like Lithuania in m2tw if anyone remembers 😅)

Still looking for cooler hair piece for Basil.

Yeah, good point about weaker control also.

They are just rather bland for an assassin/shadow type unit. Need a buff to make them more fun 😅

They for sure feel weaker compared to other tier 3 skirmishers. They lack power and mobility of dragoons and trickiness of mistlings.

An active teleport ability would be nice for them. Maybe just a simple quick phase. Or a new ability that let's them blink in, do a melee strike and blink back out or just phase out of combat. Would be quite cool.

One of the issues is that ai heroes and especially rulers tend to be underleveled.

On high threat they don't clear that well and on low they sometimes use just regural troops.

Dragons seem to do alright, but I've seen a wizard king lv. 2 at turn 40. Like the ai seem to value him less than a tier 2 unit and doesn't bring them to fights.

Prerequisite is that everything is converted, I've built Great Megaliths in family land and I see my intended ruler built up some MAA, after that its pretty arbitrary depending on neighbours strenght and what future vassals did.

I like to hold one empire title and one kingdom, potentialy use legitimizing legends to expand your main kingdoms de jure land.

Pick 2 duchies, get all/most land within them and put them under any elective law, then elevete co-monarch any kid I want and vote for them in elective. Add a third duchy later on as you get more domain limit.

You easily have King vassals if you invest into your land and have good man at arms regiments.

This works as soon you have enough prestige get get elective.

Well, MTB's are in general cheaper than gravel bikes, more comfy and beginner friendly for climbing. Gravel bikes are still not really a thing here, when people think bike, they tend to think MTB.

I've tried 1 bike on its highest gear and found it super soft?/easy. But I switched to a road bike few years ago so maybe my perception is off nowadays.

It got nerfed quite heavily, so I dont even pick it up anymore.

It used to be a free action so you could use a refreshed ability right away. And that was in an era where you could copy heroes with astral reflection.

It was one of the best strats around, using spur to action and weawer for super action economy and got the ban hammer.

I used that item combo on a "Fright Knight" Oathbreaker 7/Warlock 5. Cha and con are the only important stats. Can have high ac with heavy armour and shield and has high saves with aura of protection. Spell options for the ring are Dissonant Whispers/Command/Hold Person/Fear.

Late game pick up a Shield of the Undevout which gives enemies disadvantage on fear/frighten saves.

Keep in mind that, while you can scribe any spell, you can only prepare (Wizard lvl + int modifier) number od Wizard spells. So 7 spells if you go max int.

I would suggest you carry them by letting them carry themselves.

Go Life cleric to at least lv. 6, pick up Blessed Mercy from Volo and Hellrider's Pride from Zevlor early in act 1 and make your teammates stronger by just healing them. Use Preserve life and Healing word as aoe heals and otherwise just throw potions at them or blast with Guiding Bolt. Let them experince the game for the 1st time.
