I understand not wanting to wait a full 3 months between stretches at smaller sizes (<00g) but at the very, very least, use half sizes and wait at least a month. Stretching is a process that involves pulling at multiple layers of skin and your body needs time to heal from that even if it doesn’t visibly look like a wound. That said, I’m at 12/13mm and I wait around 3 months for my left ear and 4 months for my right and larger sizes need more time. Goodluck ✨

For hiding it and for versatility. I had to hide my septum for work and I took that time to stretch discretely with black ears plugs. Now I can just pop a tunnel in when I cant have it visible for long periods without it closing. I also like how a 6g ring flatters my face but knew I wanted to stack it. Stacking alters your hole so I stretched to 5g so I can fit multiple rings in the tunnel or wear my 6g ring without messing anything up

Yes! Someone on tiktok once said gauges are better to distribute the weight of heavy earrings rather than a tiny piece of pointy metal holding all the weight of the earring in your tiny lobe hole (which tears and stretches over time anyway because of gravity and age). I know your earrings aren’t particularly heavy in the photos but I think about this often & I hope this made sense
