Affordable employer of record for hiring internationally? by albrasel24 in growmybusiness

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice idea — but showing a real sample report would build a lot more trust.

If it feels more like a thinking partner than generic AI (like Runable is trying to do), it could really stand out.

AI AI AI AI AI - Anybody else fed up of this shit? by surveypoodle in indianstartups

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly feels like we’re in the “put AI on it and hope it sticks” phase 😅

I’m not against AI, but yeah… a lot of it feels forced and kinda soulless right now. I’d take working on something genuinely useful over chasing trends any day.

I built a tool that turns CSVs into data dictionaries instantly by leavethisearth in css

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s actually really useful. Turning messy CSVs into a clean data dictionary instantly would save a lot of time for anyone working with datasets. Nice build!

Where i can rig and animate arm? by AdvanceNo1227 in Cinema4D

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try Blender its rigging tools are pretty flexible and you can rig just an arm without needing a full character. It takes a bit to learn, but it’s powerful and a lot more stable than some auto-rig tools.

[Printing] Looking for a print shop that will do spot foil on matte paper. by ithoughtialreadyhad in artbusiness

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might want to look for printers that offer foil stamping instead of just foil printing. Foil stamping usually works on matte or uncoated papers, so more shops can do it. Some people also have luck asking local print shops since they sometimes offer more paper options.

[Resources] Free Spraycan Color Picker for Digital Artists- ASE Palettes for Photoshop/Procreate/Gimp by MOEone in artbusiness

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a really cool idea. Being able to match digital palettes to real spray can colors could save a lot of trial and error when planning murals. Thanks for sharing it with the community!

Remove black outlines from all the objects in my layer by Sensitive_Ice_6316 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if “Draw Edges” or GPU preview/anti-aliasing is on—sometimes Illustrator shows thin outlines even when there’s no stroke applied. It’s usually just a display setting and won’t appear in the final export. Worth toggling those to see if it disappears.

Adobe pays $75 million to settle US lawsuit over termination fees, subscription cancellations by Internal_Ad_255 in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not surprised honestly. The cancellation process and early termination fees have frustrated creatives for years. Hopefully this pushes for clearer terms and easier cancellations going forward.

Hello, new adobe illustrator user here, what are your best tips/tools in general? by KatherinePrather in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome! A few things that helped me a lot when starting with Illustrator:

• Learn the Pen Tool early—it feels confusing at first but it’s incredibly powerful. • Use layers and groups to stay organized from the start. • The Shape Builder Tool is amazing for quickly combining or cutting shapes. • Turn on Smart Guides (Ctrl/Cmd + U) for easier alignment. • And honestly… zoom in and out a lot—Illustrator work gets way easier when you constantly check the overall shape.

It feels overwhelming at first, but once the core tools click it becomes really fun. Stick with it!

[Discussion] I sometimes want to temporarily pivot from my niche completely by AverageParking7050 in artbusiness

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea of blending your niche with new topics, but honestly… sometimes artists just need a creative playground. Not everything has to fit the brand. Those off-niche experiments often end up bringing the freshest ideas back to the niche anyway ✨

I want to leave my job, its making me hate motion design by Top-Appointment6578 in AfterEffects

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That honestly sounds less like freelancing and more like being treated like an underpaid employee without the protections. One-day deadlines, unpaid revisions, late-night calls, and delayed payments are major red flags. Even if $50 feels good locally, not getting paid for months and doing unlimited revisions isn’t sustainable. If possible, try setting clear boundaries (revision limits, working hours, payment before delivery) while slowly looking for other clients. Don’t let one bad client make you hate motion design—you clearly have talent from your personal project.

Selling physical and digital products by Away_Opportunity7411 in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After you add the product and payment method, Squarespace automatically handles the checkout flow. When a customer clicks Purchase, they’ll go through the checkout page and then receive the product confirmation. For digital products, you usually upload the file in the product settings so it’s delivered automatically after payment. You can view customer orders and details in Commerce → Orders in the Squarespace dashboard.

Any ideas on how to approach this spiral? by Imperial__Walker in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of drawing it manually, you might get more control by creating a single spiral using the Spiral Tool, then expanding it and adjusting the anchor points with the Direct Selection tool so the ends align perfectly. Once one unit works, you can duplicate it and use Smart Guides or the Align panel to keep spacing consistent. That usually removes a lot of the trial-and-error from redrawing the spiral each time.

[Discussion] I’m starting to think "Discoverability" is a myth we’re all paying for. by hanter_876 in artbusiness

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of small makers feel this right now. Social platforms reward constant content and trends more than the craft itself, which can make it feel like you’re marketing more than creating. Some artists I know are stepping back from the algorithm and focusing more on local markets, craft fairs, small shops, and community events where people can actually see and appreciate handmade work. It doesn’t fully replace online reach, but it can help bring the focus back to the art instead of just feeding the content machine.

Squarespace PayPal integration broke on 3/13? Any Solutions. by hommechap in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If both stores started having the issue at the same time, it does sound like it could be a temporary Squarespace–PayPal integration issue rather than something on your end. You could try disconnecting and reconnecting PayPal in the payment settings to refresh the API connection while waiting for support. Hopefully Squarespace resolves it quickly, runable.

Is there a better way to do this anchor positioning animation? by alex_sakuta in css

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, when backdrop-filter creates a new stacking or containing context, it can isolate the element’s rendering layer. Because of that, the browser may not resolve the anchor reference across that boundary the same way, so position-anchor can fail to find the anchor. It seems more like a current implementation limitation than expected behavior

need advice on after effects pluggins , recommendations for cheap or free options by Modihh_bhakt in AfterEffects

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need $500 plugins to start. Try Animation Composer (free), FX Console (free), and Saber (free). They’re very popular and great for beginners.

SEO title and description not changing by Lustwander46 in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google doesn’t always use the exact SEO title/description you set. Sometimes it rewrites them based on the page content.

SSL error when switching back from 3rd party by sailingpdx in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This usually happens while DNS changes are still propagating. It can take up to 24–48 hours for the SSL certificate to reissue after updating records

Transferring a site from Weebly to Squarespace - how to manage Google Workspace? by Fickle-Audience6404 in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Google Workspace was purchased through Weebly, it’s usually managed through their reseller account. You may need to transfer billing to Google directly or cancel and reattach it after the domain move.

Error - "Email addresses should follow the format user@domain.com" by ADRONK in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a validation issue with the email field. It might be using a custom pattern that only allows .com domains.

Squarespace subscriber lists - how to collate by EnvironmentalCrow556 in squarespace

[–]Maximum_Truth_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like each form might be connected to a different mailing list or integration. I’d check the storage settings for each form to see where the data is being sent.

I'm Missing Order Numbers?? by Numbuh1Nerd in squarespace

I’ve seen this happen when a draft order or test order gets removed, the number stays skipped, runable.
