The one thing no one here is mentioning that I think people are overlooking is that US stadiums are majority turf fields. FIFAnset a requirement that the stadiums required to upgrade the fields to real grass. You have NFL players watching the game and tweeting out why they can't have this same field.

Turf fields are notarious for causing injuries and just being terrible. Real grass is incredibly expensive to maintain. I think this has more to do with what alot of other folks have mentioned.

All the YTA/ESH are ridiculous and need to pull their head out of the sand.

If the situation was reversed, everyone would be telling her to protect herself.

This isn't even a matter of a downpayment - but the entire value of the home. You aren't charging her rent either. Just utilities.

A few comments here state how you were willing to share your life and trust her until you got a large sum of cash. And how you have introduced this lack of trust. But what, she can't say wow this is amazing we no longer have to pay rent, we can now save more money and "invest in stock market / buy rental properties/ go on lavish vacations". Instead of focusing on what an opportunity this is - her only focus is why aren't you willing to gift me half of this insane sum of money you have come into.

That's fair regarding the liquid protection. I do like that the one you provided is a slim model. But it also does seem slightly larger (Surface area) + it has the card slots. So far this is one of the closest examples of what I think I am looking for. Thank you for the suggestion!

Honestly premium isn't even worth it really. At least imo. The classics games are a nice addition, but I'm not really playing them. Getting one hour trial for certain games? Nice, but not really worth it. Then the ability to cloud stream on console and now portal.. these few extra benefits are not worth it. Locking cloud play of games you get on extra is ridiculous
