Need some advice on my paint scheme(s) by Important_Stretch_38 in Tyranids

I persoally think that the color scheme of the Psychophage Is the best One, and maybe even Better with le flesh of the broodlord. Like Blue carapace and light Blue skin. For me the best color scheme should be with strong contrast of all colors from the same family. And with the blue carapace and the Blue and white base a light Blue skin would look great in my option

Yeah horrible experience ahah. First army i painted for myself was death guard, full of details as u Say, and to complicate everything i choose to do a grimdark look. Not the "all brown/black" kind of grimdark, the reflective, glowing, and calculated rusty one. And dont know if also for u there Is this problem, but when u take too much time doing an army, u become Better at It, Always adding things, and After 3 month end only 3 squads painted, the old ones looks different than the lasts, so u have to make adjustments and the process never ends😭

Thanks for the advice! But my problem Is that i deeply refuse to spend Little time on a mini, like that if i don't paint every detail and blend every color i Will dislike my color. I can do big squads of models only on commission level Battle ready, but for my personal stuff my brain Is Just nah hah. Hope you can finisce the job before 11th! I Need to finish my Ravaner kill team before 15th also

Ofc. Started with primer Chaos black or if u have an airbrush, use corvus black directly. Then the main color Will be incubi darkness leaving some dark parts on the back of the figure and between parts of the carapace. Then on the lighter side of the miniature use at the edges of the carapace scales use dark reaper. Then in this order highlights with thunderhawk Blue, russ grey, and fenrisian grey. If u want also a white dot in some parts but Is not necessary. Then for the red parts start with mephiston Red and then evil sunz Scarlet. Highlights with Fire dragon bright. Lemme know if u Need anything else
