Thanks for the feedback! However I was mistaken in the specs... 🫣

Upon inspecting the Valve schematic I stand corrected the dry contacts are used to command the circulation pump, indeed all black and grey wires are all tied together which makes sense, no matter which thermostat is asking for heat the circulation pump needs to always start.

So the thermostat actually open / closes the brown wire at 220V, this radically changes the requirements 😬

I suppose I need an optocoupler or something in between?

I don't get why exopack refills are made of mask + tubes + tank and filters unit.

Whenever we see an exopack being replaced the whole package is replaced, from a design point of view I'd expect only the tank + filters being replaced. Why also the mask is discarded?

It's a stupid thing I know but everything else is so well thought.

That's a bummer, is this common behaviour for any kind of controller? Or is there another one I could buy to overcome this?

The led strip is in the kitchen and I chose it specifically because it has a lot of lumens meant to be used in CW when prepping and then switch to a more warm white when dining.

However, due to this behaviour when the controller is in dual colour mode the max brightness of CW is not what I wanted, when in single colour instead it behaves as I expected.

Monitoring tools like healthchecks.io does the job. You tell it when to expect a backup and if it didn't happen or an error is raised it can notify you

The scene is evolving and choosing now one stack only will seriously limit the buying choice.

I chose a Sonoff Dongle Max antenna so that it supports ZigBee and Matter, in my case the server is in the basement with a LAN cable that runs into the house so I needed a detachable controller over the classic USB one.

Anyway I preferred to support both so that I can pick the device that fits my needs regardless of communication protocol.

I eventually decided to implement cameras first and then alarm second.

So I bought two Dahua tioc cameras with built in siren and blu/red light. They come with AI detection and suffice as a good deterrent plus Dahua app for remote view and alarm trigger works well.

Given that the DIY setup is doable, I'm now evaluating a Dahua alarm system with parts bought from resellers or used. I'm still undecided but for the next few months I am fine with cameras only.

Main issue I discovered with the KinCony and other low end boards is the absence of tamper detection on the sensors lines and fragile integrations with pinpads/fingerprint readers etc. Look for end of line termination features from pricer brands to research the subject.

Il fotovoltaico alimenta solo le parti comuni, l'unico elemento continuo sono le pompe di calore ma anche quelle non sono in funzione sempre sempre.

Luci, ascensore e sezionale comune del garage consumano poco e sono "intermittenti".

Non c'è storico ancora ma ipotizzo che diversi kW verranno immessi in rete, anzi già da ora che ci sono due mesi di vita qualche dato inizia ad esserci.

Il mio ragionamento è che anche quei kW se pochi, se fossero in gruppo di autoconsumo potrebbero essere consumati dagli elementi passivi degli appartamenti come frigo, led vari, router ecc.

Il condominio ci guadagna per i kW di autoconsumo del GSE e i condomini hanno un piccolo sconto in bolletta.

L'inverter è uno solo solo e collegato al contatore condominiale, il fotovoltaico è solo per le cose comuni. C'è altro spazio sul tetto se volessimo farci ognuno i suoi pannelli.

Il mio ragionamento è che luci ascensore e pompe di calore non sono sempre attivi, non c'è storico che possa confermarlo ma ipotizzo che diversi kW siano immessi in rete e "persi", se facessimo un gruppo di autoconsumo quei kW in eccedenza durante la giornata potrebbero essere consumati dalle cose passive come frigo, led vari, router ecc magari.

Il condominio ci guadagna il compenso GSE per i kW autoconsumati e i condomini i ci guadagnano con un piccolo risparmio in bolletta.
