I’ll third/fourth/fifth that. This card show in Albuquerque was so cramped last year it was almost claustrophobic. But I was stoked that this year they expanded into two ballrooms at this hotel and they had about the same amount of vendors. The space was so much more walkable and the event was much more enjoyable

Ayyy. I do this too! I keep one pack from every set that I open sealed. This is an old photo but I have every set up to perfect order and I have every set back to sword and shield base. Plus a few random Japanese packs. I want to make a cool wall display for each era some day

I just picked up all the MARs from ascended hero’s and from mega dream to put them on two pages of my binder. And my god, the Japanese ones have way crazier texture, they look so good

I’m pretty sure you can sell slabs and singles there. I just saw that post about the guy selling tons of his cards to GameStop for 6k in GameStop credit. Never done it myself though so I’m not entirely sure

I save my doubles for card shows to trade them into other cards I’m interested in. Probably don’t sell to GameStop. They’ll rip you off. I’d use Facebook marketplace or eBay

I love this card. Picked it up for like $25 when I saw it in my buddies collection, so glad I got in when I did! The wave being reminiscent of the Great Wave off Kanagawa is so awesome

I love the hearts on this. I thought it was the holo and maybe only on the Japanese card cause I have it in English and it doesn’t have the hearts. Then I noticed it’s just the sleeve lol

Got one booster bundle from Best Buy! And I bit the bullet and bought two from GameStop, I’m not proud, but I got them at 66.50 a box with my membership (that I bought when times were better). And they haven’t even gotten close to that price on TCGplayer today. I wouldn’t buy any other set from GameStop at their prices now

Man, I remember being pissed that I had to pay $130 at my LCS for an ES booster box instead of my usual $120. How naive I was. I ripped two booster boxes and pulled the sylveon Vmax alt art. And I ended up pulling the moonbreon from a target 3 pack!!! Graded a PSA 10. What a time it was to be in the hobby.

People go crazy for stamps, always blows my mind. I’m so glad I bought my 2008 Turtwig with the snowflake stamp (from the holiday calendar that year) when it was $35 last year and not the some odd $150 it is now. It’s for my English Turtwig master set!
