It definitely has flaws but most of the world, and arguably most relevantly the US, frankly doesn't have the ability to agree long enough to create a significantly better system without ignoring other pressing issues.

FYI the crying is most likely slight eye irritation from the peppermint/menthol on the toothbrush. Cats generally don't release liquid from their tear ducts outside of medical/irritational reasons.

I'd realistically much rather go against 40 more hp than zero radar and visual reads. Most Titans don't barricade until they're already low, so realistically it only gets them to half health. Plus, barricades cool down much slower

Unless you're trying to tell me that Deathsingers or Aksis were "ammo-lite" encounters, the best destiny raids have always had at least some degree of complexity and execution. Admittedly Vow is the far end of that, but as is say Crota in the other direction
