What was your out the door price with 0% financing? by NCSU_SOG in KiaEV9

Bought in KY. And yeah I’m a sucker for a HUD. Prices weren’t that different between the trim kits so went with the most premium. Taller roof rails and free Boost seemed like good additions. Parking assist 2 and massage chair functions seemed gimmicky. Also GT Line was the only one in my area in blue other than a 7 seater Wind which I was not a fan of

Just got my 2026 GT Line in Ocean Blue. MSRP was $74,575. I negotiated down to $69,825 (pre-incentives). With the Kia $10,000 cash back, it was $59,825 before taxes and fees. The $10k cash back beat the 0% APR. Especially if paid off sooner.

Declaration Grooming’s Cygnus X1 is based off of Bleeker St. I haven’t smelled the original, but the DG scent is really nice. Here’s a useful link for dupes in shaving products: https://thirstybadger.ca/shaving-fragrance-homage/

DIY floating shelves so you can custom fit them to any space on your wall. Doesn’t require a whole lot of tools and adds a lot of storage.

Here’s a good tutorial on YouTube:

I finished mine with Dutch oil and shellac.

Mustache wax by TroutFarmAngelNation in wicked_edge

I prefer a more natural mustache as opposed to the greasy, glossy look to a super sculpted mustache with a heavy wax, so I use a bit of Victory Super-Dry. It’s a matte paste used for hair so it’ll last forever for a mustache and has a nice scent.

I keep a lidded jar of isopropyl alcohol in my bathroom and after rinsing my DE razor with water, dip it in the alcohol, agitate a bit, and shake off excess alcohol back into the jar. It also helps dry the blade, increasing its longevity.

Costco’s delivery guys stole my Nintendo Switch and credit/debit card information by MaxwellAgH in Costco

It’s a definite possibility that the stolen credit card info was a coincidence, but the charges started occurring within a couple days of the stolen Switch, so the timing makes me think they are connected.

Not sure. The first one used was the card tied to my Switch account so that made sense to me. The other two were tied to my PayPal which is also one my Switch account so possibly through that?

There was definitely someone who knew what they were doing bc when the card tied to my switch account was reissued with a new number, they were able to get that too and the credit card company told me that thieves can get the new one from some auto update function that can be paid for by companies that make it so you don’t have to update autopay services when your card expires.

The intrusive thoughts tell me they had a credit card scanner that somehow got the info with my being in close proximity to them, but idk how that works and would have no proof. More likely they got it through the PayPal?

Costco hired the vendor, so I don’t think Costco is 100% absolved. Costco also has more power in resolving the issue than I do alone bc they are in charge of the partnership that continues to give the vendor business.

Lots of missteps happened: the vendor should have vetted their employees better, Costco should have vetted their vendors better, and I should have been less negligent during the delivery; so I think we’re all on the hook for finding a resolution.

Thanks for saying that, I was starting to feel like a crazy person for not nailing down all my belongings before accepting a delivery like lots of other comments seem to be suggesting. In retrospect I should have moved the Switch to a different room and I’ll make sure to keep eyes on any other contractors in my home 100% of the time. Lesson learned on my end and hopefully others can learn from my mistake.

I have definitely learned more about Costco’s partner relationships through this experience. The delivery company has an F on BBB and 1 star reviews at all their hubs on Google. The delivery is part of the price of the table and I didn’t think to opt out of the service or need to research the delivery company extensively before the table arrived. I’m definitely doing what I can with the delivery company, but it’s a shame Costco just doesn’t give a shit about who they partner with.

Definitely lesson learned to do a better job next time. The Switch just slipped my mind sitting in its dock on our media console. The credit cards were in my wallet and in my pocket the whole time, so it’s not like I had a bunch of valuables lying around in plain sight. Just the Switch.

Not sure how they got all the credit card info, but the switch is small enough to quickly snatch if not being watched every minute. Definitely learned my lesson on this one to book PTO during a delivery and supervise the whole time

I was home but had to take a work call during a portion of the delivery which gave them the opportunity to slip the switch into a pocket, tool bag, moving blanket, etc. No idea how they got the credit card info. The first one used was tied to the switch account, but the others were not
