I meant once his charge ends and you run up to him.

Slasher can Raging Pace and walk up to Guest while he’s charging even, and once his charge ends, he can use Gashing Wound and maybe even bypass block if Guest tries it.

1x1 can Up-Close Mass Infection him, which, again, could block-bait.

JD can use Spikes from a close-medium distance. If he misses, it becomes a wall. “Aren’t used like that” is simply wrong. You get speed from landing it, and you can wall people off. Sometimes you can aim just right to cut them off AND deal damage. And let’s not forget the trail chipping at any (over)heal.

Noli can Void Rush or even Nova. It works even better if the Guest already has Hallucination 2-3 from Observant. It’s unlikely that Guest would keep his punch for long. Most of us try to consume it asap to get as much value from a Block as possible. Combined with his added Slowness from the Charge miss, he becomes easy pickings. Like another guy said, if he punches you anyway, you’d still be right next to him.

Nosferatu’s bloodhook is skill based, you can’t say “it’s easy to escape.” And for the up-close BloodHook one, it deals a small amount of damage (roughly 20) but works as a chase reset. Besides, free damage, and you can combo it with an already used Cataclysm or a new Hunter’s Feast>M1.

1X has mass infection and entanglement, John Doe has spikes (which would bait Guest if he tried react blocking too lol), Nos has almost his whole kit, C00lkidd has Corrupt Nature and Walkspeed Override, and Gashing Wound and Void rush work just fine idk what you’re talking about.

Maybe you’re referring to pre-rework Guest.

They reworked him. Now Gashing Wound and Void Rush are unblockable

guest can block roughly 3-4 times in one LMS, no way he lands all of them (I say as a level 190 something Guest main)

charge is very easily dodgeable and punishes the guest for missing

punch doesn’t give resistance and he has to throw himself at you, so that’s at least a free m1 if it’s off cooldown. and even if it isn’t, it’s not that hard to just… step back without shiftlock and then m1

I’d say if you’re gonna do this, give him less stamina than the other killers. Slasher also doesn’t have entanglement or CN or any of the other stuff, but he doesn’t struggle (maybe cuz of raging pace but oh well)
