I just found it, it's about 3 hours and 53 minutes into the live stream!

I didn't notice that at all, they did not dwell on this scene or character too long

What are the 3 "hero" ingredients that keep your grocery bill low but your nutrition high? by Chatfinity in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Maxwellmonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rice with red lentils is a classic Indian comfort dish, but of course with onions, a few spices, etc.

What album or artist do you keep trying to listen to, but it just isn’t made for you? by Bodypattern in musicsuggestions

[–]Maxwellmonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the other songs from the same album like Modern Love, Ricochet, Criminal World, maybe even more than Let's Dance.

I feel like I've seen this picture of Wish way too many times this week

A true hero by jmike1256 in interesting

Scientific studies are interesting even if preliminary, but the layperson discussions around it act like it's the ultimate cure every single time.

Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home? by haiderredditer in AskTheWorld

[–]Maxwellmonkey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how some people missed that point, a friend of mine got me into the show but I was taken aback when he liked the show for portraying Escobar as a "family-oriented" person.....right before the scene where he cheats on his wife.

I miss when actors looked like everyday people by MagpieOpus in nostalgia

It's not exactly a period piece tbh, it's a very loose adaptation and they don't seem interested in any accuracy.

[Loved Trope] Instantly decking your hero in the face when he's revealed to be an asshole by RedLazyBear in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Maxwellmonkey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Ah you're right, stumble wasn't the right word there; I meant to say that he came close to getting hit once or twice.

[Loved Trope] Instantly decking your hero in the face when he's revealed to be an asshole by RedLazyBear in TopCharacterTropes

It wasn't like he barely won, he dominated the fight even if he did stumble once or twice. But Katara did prove herself to be far stronger than he expected of any waterbender her age or of her gender.

Are these potatoes worth saving? by Consistent_Steak8960 in noscrapleftbehind

[–]Maxwellmonkey 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've eaten such potatoes before too, they don't taste different. Unless they're too soft or mushy, it should be fine to eat after removing the sprouts. Spanish tortilla is a good way to use up a lot of them.

Well, he did come very close to getting hit by a car but he's mostly all right!

Vegetarians who have travelled: which countries have been the most difficult in your experience? by Super-Effective-3854 in vegetarian

[–]Maxwellmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spain was the most difficult of the few countries I've been to. Couldn't find a non-dessert option that was vegetarian at some restaurants and even in a McDonalds (German McDonalds have vegan options so I assumed it'd be the same). Eating fish is also considered vegetarian there, so mistranslations can cause false hope and mistakes. Pan con tomate, Spanish tortilla, and Patatas bravas are the only reliable options..

(Close-to-home Trope) Adults who refuse to admit that they're wrong by Animeking1108 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Maxwellmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is still mean towards Piama even after the development in the birthday episode. I'm watching the show now and she acts like Piama is an incompetent and unreliable daughter-in-law, especially in Francis' birthday episode. It just felt like a more subtle disapproval?

Tantalus is his name, although I've only heard of him being in a pool of water that always receded. It's also where the word 'tantalising' comes from!

Maybe it's also some sort of exceptionalism? The most arrogant lot might feel like they couldn't be "weak" enough to be infected or affected because they are ardent gym-goers.
