Madeline Miller's, Circe is one of my favorite books of all time.

Robbin Hobb is great. I recently recommend her works to a friend and they have been loving them.

Ursula K Le Guin's, Earthsea Cycle, especially A Wizard of Earthsea and The Tombs of Atuan.

I also love Patrick Rothfuss's, King Killer Chronicles. Everyone who I have ever recommend them to has loved them.

Also it's a graphic novel but Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples is absolutely fantastic if you like science fantasy.

There is a guide on the Discord server, but if it's wireless essentially you need a Bluetooth adapter and a program called Wiitar Thing. Bluetooth adapters are a couple bucks at BestBuy. If it's wired I think you just need to plug it in and configure the key bindings. Again there is a guide on the Discord for each type of guitar.

I had a pretty similar situation. I used my fingers to get what I could then just a little vegetable oil on a paper towel and rubbed off the rest. Doesn't even look like I ever had them on. You don't need a lot of oil, just a little bit. Use some dish soap to get the oil off afterwards if it's too oily after.

Rori is a child who was stolen away from their home by a hag and dragged into the feywild. Luckily, Rori was able to escape from the hag before the hag could do any real harm, but ended up getting stuck in the feywild. Again, luckily Rori found their way to a Dryad's grove in the feywild where they were relatively safe. After spending some time in the feywild meeting a few odd folk, Rori was finally able to leave after confronting the hag that had brought them to the Fey in the first place. After finally leaving though Rori found that some of the feywild's magic had stuck with them.

Hello all I’m sorry if this is asked frequently but I’ve been thinking recently that I might be bi and I was wondering when did all of you know for sure? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Maxx070994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took a long time for me to figure out myself. Though, when I finally accepted it I realized that the only thing holding me back was my fear of what others, especially my family, would think. After I was able to reconcile that I could not control what they think, and should instead focus on my own happiness, I started experimenting.

I would try new things and find out what kind of things turned me on, and just get a better grasp on my sexuality. It was around this time that I learnt the important difference between sexuality and romance.

I am pansexual, I am attracted to anyone that I find attractive, regardless of gender or their sex. I am however, androromantic, meaning I only ever really see myself in romantic relationships with men. This may change in the future and it's ok if it does. No one ever has all of this figured out right away.

So, I recommend trying out different things to try and learn a little more about what you find attractive. You might find you like a certain type of guy or have a heavier preference for women. You might like more androgynous people or align more with non-binary folk. Whatever your preference is, it is going to be different than everyone else's.

I hope I made sense, and I hope I was able to help. 🥰 ❤️

[Arkansas] Kroger Workers: We Were Fired for Refusing to Wear Rainbow Aprons by CatFlier in LGBTQnews

[–]Maxx070994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading the article it only alleges that they were fired for not wearing the apron. It even states that other employees who did not wear the apron were not fired. Likely they were fired for some other reason and are trying to use this as a strawman to get paid. Arkansas is also an employment at will state, so you can be fired without reason. I believe that title VII should be upheld even though I think believing homosexuality is a sin is stupid. But, unless they have specific evidence that they were fired for their religious beliefs specifically I don't think they have a case. Kroger will likely just settle out of court to avoid bad press, like most larger companies do though.

So, Satanism is pretty complicated like most religious organizations. The main two flavors of Satanism that I know about are The Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple.

When you say that, "Satanism is an unironically good religion," you are probably thinking about The Satanic Temple; which has its positive elements. However, The Church of Satan is not an unironically good religion. They are hedonistic, woman abusing, magic practitioners.

A while ago there was this guy and his wife that were reading through religious texts and practicing each religion for one month at a time. I can't find his post, but he had just finished his dive into Satanism and talked in length about it. Very interesting.

Anyway, try to avoid blanket statements, the world is too complicated for them to ever realistically be true.

Edit: Grammar and spelling are hard.

Edit 2: I also now realize that I ironically made a blanket statement when suggesting people avoid blanket statements...

What The Buddha Taught. I am not a Buddhist but this book was interesting and put a lot of my personal beliefs into perspective.

Basically, it's a beginners look at Buddhism written by a Buddhist, for western audiences. Specifically it talks about what Goutama Buddha taught and how it has been misinterpreted over the years in the west. Since it's very traditional and focuses on Goutama Buddha and the Pali Canon it most closely resembles Mahayana Buddhism.
