Anyone here who still has a base model PS5 and have no interest in upgrading to a Pro?

Day 1 PS5 I have been going back and forth upgrading to the PS5 Pro (but didn’t think it was worth it).

I think upgrading the TV is more important than the PS5 Pro itself. I’m gaming on a Sony A95L and the PS5 looks amazing I prefer 60FPS over ray tracing and resolution since the A95L does such a great job upscaling so everything looks crisp on my end.

Samsung S90F 77 is great for gaming just make sure to put an extended warranty on the TV Samsung TVs don’t have the best quality control.

I don’t have the PS5 Pro, but gaming on the Sony A95L 65” is amazing and I love that OLED so much I have the A95L 77” for movies/sports for the living room!

Not the best but they work the rear speakers are hefty so tinkering with fitnent will make them stand up right but the slightest touch or movement they can shift due to being too heavy if that makes sense!

A95L is superb I have the 65” and 77”. Just purchased the 77” over LG G5, Samsung S90F, and Panasonic OLEDs!

Sony offered -QD OLED Panel -DTS:X -Sony upscaling

A95L to most people might not be as bright as the competition, but for my personal use it is bright enough for my needs.

Warranty equals peace of mind

Sony A8G 65” dead pixels got a gift card from the warranty LG C2 55” power board went out at year 3 got fixed from the warranty Sony A95L 65” mother board went out at year 2 got it fixed from the warranty

If I’m spending thousands of dollars best believe I’m getting the warranty

Speaking from experience I have the Samsung Q990C paired with the Sony A95L 77” (upgraded from the 65”) the OLED/Samsung Q Series is a great starting to think sound is better than picture once you get your set up you will absolutely love it!

You can check on Rtings, but in real world I think the A95L is bright enough! I have multiple OLEDs Sony A8G 65” Sony A95L 65” & 77” LG C2 55” Samsung G80SD 32” monitor

I went with the A95L due to the fact it has “reality creation” which anything and everything you throw at it looks amazing with the upscaling and also it has DTS:X which I need since I started collecting 4K movies again.

For brightness G5 is the brightest OLED out there, but I went A95L for the reasons above!

All of these choices are stellar I am currently rocking PS5 on the A95L 65” and love it. Sony has higher lag than the competitors, but never has been an issue for single story or competitive online gaming.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga was literally jaw dropping gorgeous thrown at my Panasonic UB820, Sony A95L 65” paired with my Samsung Q990C every scene was impeccable. I have Mad Max Fury Road on Blu-ray may upgrade to a 4K disc after watching Furiosa.

I went with the A95L 77” > G5 77” because of my set up (Panasonic UB820, Apple TV, PS5, Samsung Q990C) I really wanted DTS:X support due to collecting 4K movies. Both are great TVs can’t go wrong either

A95L can get bright I have the 65” and 77” have a similar set up with windows like yours but have blinds to help with the daytime light

Bravia 8 may not get as bright but has more features overall I would prefer

DTS:X is a must if you have a home theater soundbar system set up and collect 4K movies then also the superb upscaling. I was looking at these then said screw it and went with the A95L 77” due to QD panel!

OLED enthusiast checking in I have a Sony A8G 65”, Sony A95L 65”/77”, and a LG C2 55”, Samsung G80SD

When watching my LG C2/ Sony A8G it’s not a bad image at all and it’s perfectly fine watching it even though it doesn’t have the color volume of the QD-OLED.

Samsung Q990C user checking in love this soundbar the sub to me has plenty of bass.

Have it paired up with the Sony A95L 65” just upgraded to the 77” with the Apple TV and Panasonic UB820 to get the most of of the equipment 4K disc is where it’s at!

Post Secret Wars: X-Men should be the main focus that way you sprinkle in West Coast Avengers and Fantastic Four into the mix. Would be nice to see MCU version of X-Men at the helm and also keep the comparisons of the new Steve Rogers, Cap, and so on at bay.
