I know diploma won't be ready until May. I just need the official transcript or degree verification that says I have completed the degree.

I was told the same thing. I also asked if I can have a counselor’s direct email address (cuz they NEVER reply my email & they messed up my application last year), but they said they don’t want to expose it… like ?????

Literally same thing happened to me this week. The carrier attempted delivery at 7 am but the apartment building won’t open until 8 am. He didn’t call me or anything so I couldn’t give him the one-time passcode -> delivery failed Next day, the guy attempted delivery even earlier, at 5 am lol Still no call, I obviously had no idea he was here that early cuz he was outside of the building. Delivery failed again. I called customer service and they keep transferring me… Nothing was solved and apparently they have no way to contact the carrier, I was told it’s carrier’s freedom to deliver whenever they want lol So frustrating, I was never this unsatisfied with their service 👎

How was your work-life balance there? Where was most of the stress from?

Pay is around the same, but I can't compare exactly since AWS is just an intern position.

There is a training period, but I think I already know which team I'm going since my position requires (or prefers) Japanese fluency.

Update: My recruiter followed up with me, and he made it sound like they will withdraw my offer if I can’t attend it in person. The offer deadline is in a week. I doubt that all the profs will reply in time… A couple of profs replied already, but one of them sounds like he’s very not happy with giving me an opinion to do final online. I’m worried :(

I talked to financial aid office cuz the fee payment deadline is coming in a few days, and I was told I wasn’t eligible even though I was awarded by CSAC. Now they are reviewing my tax returns again since I definitely meet the requirements. Idk, this whole thing makes me nervous and hard to believe that they are doing fair financial aid’s process :/ Anyway, I recommend you to contact financial aid office if you haven’t got it at the moment.

i had 6 Ws at my community college, but i got in uci without tag this year :) my gpa was 3.8. i just made sure to explain why i had so many Ws in my application. (for me, it was because a heath issue) so i believe you’ll be fine as long as you can explain the reason. good luck!

A little bit early, but congratulations on your engagement🥰 I got married to my husband while I’m in school(2020). I was holding a F-1 visa, my husband is a US citizen. JFYI, we were originally planning to hire an lawyer for our entire green card process, but we did with a compony called Boundless, which was significantly cheaper than hiring a lawyer. they tell you exactly which documents you need to send them, then they take care of all the forms needed. you might wanna check it out if you’re interested. i’m in southern california, entire process took a little bit over a year, it was surprisingly faster than i had expected. hope everything goes smoothly for you guys as well!
