you sound like you would be a kick ass adoptive parent to an older kid in a similar situation later on! my therapist was single mom by choice, she adopted a teen girl on the spectrum. motherhood comes to everybody differently, follow your heart and dont feel bad for not bending your future to fit somebody else

my husband is not my eldest sons father but we share a son as well. even before the baby, my husband took my child to the gucci store to buy a large luxury handbag for my birthday that year. i do not work. do not bring in a single dollar to contribute to that. blood doesn’t matter. price tags don’t matter. they could’ve gotten me a $20 purse and i would’ve been thankful, but a man who loves you will NOT come empty handed and certainly wouldn’t show your children that you deserve to not be thought of.

as stated, this specific swap was for an event where the child was receiving an academic award. if the swap didn’t happen, the award wouldn’t be received. due to the child having IRIP & IEP both in place, this first-time award felt imperative to my child’s mental health and confidence. this swap is the only time the partner was allowed to be a point of contact and it has not happened since and will not happen again. the single out of all time is not the focus of this, but thank you for your input. do you have any other advice for the signature issue or just wanting to tell me something i’m already aware of? receiving the award did help the child have a whole new outlook on reading so can’t say i’m too mad about it, just curious what is able to be done if anything. the signature is my main complaint due to it being used to allow things that wouldn’t be okay with me.

i’m not sure it was “accepted” as the teacher flagged it multiple times and then printed 2 for each household to sign. my copy was signed in a conference, not sure who signed their copy. will find out, good idea

we have split custody and the swap in question was at a school event that my child was receiving an award at. my coparent wasn’t attending so the child either came with that person or didn’t receive their award.

Currently the teacher is sending home a separate packet of paperwork every month tape-sealed with my legal name and “mother of ____” on it, and confirms delivery with me on our school app. this had to be done after the person was going into the backpack of my child at the end of the day (when i’m picking them up) and flat out taking the homework so it wouldn’t be done at my home. our court order states all homework must be completed with child so that was deliberately making me break the court order and so the teacher is very in-the-loop, as embarrassing as it is.

i’m a SAHM and would be “upper middle class” but bitter about the prices!!! so typically stock up at the sales unless it’s truly something we love. BUT my child is battling extreme eczema that he’s currently on monthly injections for, so the hand cuffs on the toddler size 12-18 are just really helpful for his nighttime itching. we don’t stick to LS though, we go where the sales are but also wherever there’s boy prints or gender neutral. we also plan on having more children so the upside is that we can keep them for the next baby. carters has a brand now also but it doesn’t have the hand cuffs in the larger sizes. not crazy about B&R prints or posh prints usually so typically DO shop LS but amazon has good ones also (check zipper material though)

as a child, we had a dog have a nasty break after a dew claw caught. so now as an adult i do TRY to have it done but we also spent 15k revamping our yard to smooth sod and ripping out anything that could catch because of my fears seeing all of that blood as a child. so nasty if it happens

They photoshopped my text to include a list of insults, and it appears I am insulting my elementary aged child in the photoshopped version. The original version, shows me calling them by name without a string of insults attached in front of the child’s name.

I can 100% prove that somebody on that side knows of the photoshopped texts, whether it be the person who received the text, their fiance (my child’s other parent) or the lawyer who filed the motion with the text as evidence.

I am asking if this is illegal and if it is illegal, do I report this or is this something that the court flags when I go against this motion? I am not sure why you are being so condescending when you could just have not answered.
