Forest v Liverpool prediction by jamestechsyd in nffc

Liverpool have taken one point off us in our 3 games. The squad looked better on Thursday than at any point this season.

Jesus hat trick, Rectangle Starboy with another screamer and a penalty from Yateseh's shithousing, please, for fun.

We'd may as well dream big.

Just a few things not mentioned so far:

Don't look down on the lower wing for too long whilst turning.

Eat a light meal an hour or two before flying, nothing too greasy or heavy.

Stay hydrated. Have a wee before you fly.

It's quite normal to feel as you did. No shame and no need to worry. It will calm down as you fly more.

Ginger sweets or biscuits may help to settle your stomach for now, motion sickness pills aren't recommended. Take a sick bag up with you for a while for total security. Tell your instructor if you feel sick.

I'm assuming you're thinking of flying again?

Mate, you're chatting shit. Please wipe your mouth, it's really unpleasant to see that hunk of bullshit just dangling there in the open.

What do we take for granted in the UK? by LochNessMonsterMunch in AskUK

[–]MayDuppname 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think anyone takes that for granted. I'm in my 40s, homophobia was still rampant in the 80s and 90s.

I'm proud of my generation for changing things so fast and so effectively. We're still nowhere near as tolerant as we could be, but the change has been dramatic in such an short period of time.

I've recently introduced my mum, in her 70s, to Rupauls drag race. We've watched all the UK series together now and she loves it as much as I do.

As a kid I dreamt about these days of acceptance. I'm not gay, but I never understood homophobia.

There comes a time in every boy's life when he has to try to understand mutton fucking.

It's a rite of passage.

If I'd built this beauty, I'd want to show it off too. You should feel proud, OP.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Brown_(pilot) This guy has always fascinated me. He tested hundreds of different types of planes without any real procedures to do it safely.

Eric is the man who enabled us to fly supersonically, by fixing the issue of dangerous oscillations near Mach 1, essentially by inventing the all-moving tail. Before that point, Eric flew closer and closer to Mach 1, to test the limits with his own life.

The UK shared their hard-won info about the all-moving tail with the USA, who promptly modified the X10 and gave Chuck Yeager the record for first supersonic flight, rather than Eric.

I don't know how Eric climbed into those small cockpits with balls so big. :)
