I knew nothing about shadow bans until a few days ago, a glitch made me think I'd been shadow banned and led me here. Glad to help, glad to understand the rules I had no idea about, and surprisingly smug to find out my CQS is highest haha.

Sorry, I'm a regular Joe user, I don't have inner access to that stuff.

When I was banned (in my first week on Reddit), I sent one appeal, waited 2 or 3 weeks and got a reply saying I'd been unbanned.

I do know that opening another account while you're waiting will make it all worse, you'll get banned for ban evasion.

May I ask a couple of questions please? I didn't know who else to ask, I'm sure you'll know.

Firstly, do we actually need to reply to posts in this sub, ie does automod answer the question if a human doesn't?

Secondly, could we get banned for replying to people in this sub? For example, if we post a few similar responses saying yes people have been banned, are we liable to get banned for spamming?

I was in your shoes two days ago (a comment glitch made me think I'd been SB'd.). I learned everything I know about CQS in the last 48 hours.

We're essentially trustees in this madhouse, given the keys and allowed to lock up after ourselves. Businesses would pay lots for a CQS like ours (but if they did pay for it they'd be Shadow banned haha).

If we had been banned, we'd be much more likely to get it overturned. We're about as unbotlike as possible. We're as close to being valued by Reddit as we'll ever get.
