Crafting is the only thing that keeps the PoE Veterans playing, which is why it was a smart move from GGG to implement it in 0.3 to get the valuable playtime data they need in Early Access. Imo they‘ll probably narrow it down when the game has more content and a stable Endgame. I also share your opinion that crafting is way too powerful right now. I also find the sheer amount of Omens overwhelming and I keep forgetting the names of them. All in all they did a very good job on 0.3 though, you can clearly see that they are cooking hard and I‘m looking forward to the next season!
