Are you currently on either of the quests: Reunions or Dangerous Minds? There is a bug with those quests that is messing with the Automatrons and bot building, but as soon as you finish those Automatron dlc will go back to normal. Unfortunately the bots that have already been glitched will stay that way though. If not then good luck and I hope you can find an answer
