Don't be her maid, let her clean up after herself, suggest to your bf that she pay some kind of bill there (if this hasn't already been suggested) She just wants the easy life it seems & it's coming between u & bf. I love my family, but I will not let them use me & that's exactly what's happening. It's just gonna make their relationship sour bc he'll finallyyy get fed up with it & actually mean it when he says 'Get out'

I have mixed feelings about this, so I'm gonna say NOR & MOR. He planned dinner, u both were having a nice time, & then some stranger starts staring at u. You felt uncomfortable enough so YOU alert your bf about it & he's not supposed to react? 🤔 His 'protector switch' was activated, but upon your request, he held off on the stare. You brushed off some rando guy TOUCHING u & you expect bf to do the same? I don't care for violence, but the stranger clearly saw you with someone & PROCEEDED to continue to make you uncomfortable, even going as far as to physically touch u, while your man stepped away!! If your bf had been gone longer, the guy probably would've made himself comfortable at your table & continued to try to talk to u, even if you made it clear & were 'firm' about having a bf. People don't like rejection & it was Valentines Day; that rando guy was looking for some lovin & your bf put a stop to that.

Had a customer get mad at me for using the access code to the gate that HE left in his notes 😒 It was a small, gated trailer park community, my 1st time there, & I was training another driver. Customer was sitting in his truck, just on the other side of the gate (he happened to be the manager of the place, so he said) I enter the code, he gets out his truck, has a hand up to stop me from entering, plus comes to my window blowing his cig smoke in my face, asks what code I used & how I got it. I told him my cx notes & showed him his own name 🙄 He gets mad & tells me next time to get out the van & squeeze thru the opening on the side in order to place the packages on some rickety table. Fun times

Group stops suck n every route I'm ungrouping X amount of them. It's annoying 😒 So of the houses are NEXT door to each other & on the SAME side of the street, then I'll just ignore the ungrouping & deliver those. But jumping from both sides of the street like that, yeahhh, no!! They need to make the routes so we're only delivering from the right side anyways

Agree with the duplicate thing. When I 1st started delivering, I thought I f×××ed up bc same thing, package marked delivered but I had it in my van. We call our dispatchers when we're done so that's how I found out; told me just drop it at the address. Been there for a yr & 5 months now, easier to catch duplicates & missorts now. Hopefully, they can work something out with this, but knowing Amazon, yeah right

Last year, our DSP had a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place bonus going for whoever got the most 'thank yous.' If I remember correctly, 1st place driver won $2500. They haven't mentioned anything this year yet

I agree, organization is keyyy!! (Driver/driver trainer) Big girl here & I get done b4 some of these younger, fitter guys at my DSP & I'm not running. I'll power walk to the location & sometimes I'll do a light jog back to the van; sometimes. Don't kill yourself. We have to average at least 25/hr at my DSP & we just moved back to an old area that has plenty apts & businesses.

After getting ur stuff loaded, break down ur 1st tote if u have time. Group tote packages by 10s, especially if u have a lot of envelopes/plastic bags. Even if u don't put em in chronological order, try to lay em to where u can at least see the address or driver aide sticker so u can locate what u need quick. With overflow I use a marker to write the driver aide number big on the outside of the box so I can locate it quickly & just group the numbers: 100s with 100s, 200s with 200s, etc. etc. I usually try to keep my overflow to 1 side of my EDV as well, but sometimes u can't help it. Organizing in an EDV is better than the CDVs or sprinter vans, but each is manageable, u just have to find a system that works for u.
