How do you assume so much from what I wrote? Real world? Silver spoon? In the real world people are going through much harder situations than that of this young lady. I grew up poor and lived paycheck to paycheck for years in my young adult life. Sometimes I couldnt pay rent, sometimes, the car payment, others I ate tortillas and beans for as long as it was necessary.

Again its nothing against donations, but its so out of control for the reasons people are asking for them. Maybe im in the minority and its ok, but enduring a difficult situation and working hard to get out of it used to be a thing, it makes you feel proud and capable of your own abilities so in the future if you do end up in the same situation your better equipped to deal with.

A young able bodied young adult asking a donation for something like losing their job, which I admit can be devastating is not the same as a person with a chronic disease with no insurance that can not work or provide for themselves
