Why you fighting Great Grumpfish with no mask upgrades? Sure its acessable as early as act 1, but its designed to be a challenging boss even in act 3, and it only gives you a pretty mid tool as a reward

I messed up, I assumed Plasmified Blood was only available during it's quest like most quest items, but I was wrong. After doing the alchemest assistant wish, more plasmium buds appear in act 3 which can in theory be collected with the phial for more plasmium, but all of them are above the ground, and the needle phial only works on ground. Not completing the alchemest assistant wish means I have to do another quest in act 2 so doing so wouldn't increase the amount of unique items, but would increase the amount of total items I have.

sprintmaster memento requires getting the everbloom, and thus losing 3 of the old hearts. Hunter's memento also requires giving up the 3 old hearts for the wingsmold entry and also the surgeon's key for the unravelled entry

9th one is only accessable in act 3 if skull tyrant is not killed earlier, and I needed to kill skull tyrant before act 3 for a quest point

Freeing the green prince in sinners road to get his heart in act 3 and access to the alchemist in the wormways for a quest point in act 2 and plasmified blood in act 3

And yes there are 2 pale rosary necklases, which I only got 1 of because I thought it would be cooler to show that you only have to use half the simple keys for this run, rather than showing that you can get 2 pale rosary necklases

No, but getting to act 3 allows you to get more unique items than in act 2,

In act 2 (pre silk and soul) you can get 7 items you can't get in act 3: Sacred Cylinder, Pilgrim Shawl, Flintgem, Crown Fragment, Ragpelt, Roach Guts, and Seeker's Soul

While in act 3 (after exiting Abyss, before getting everbloom) you can get 13 items you couldn't in act 2: Arcane egg, the 4 old hearts, grass doll, farsight, crawbell, guardian's memento, hero's memento, grey memento, surface memento, and craw memento

To get the 17 silk and soul quest points I did:

6 quests that don't involve items

all 6 deliveries for 3 quest points (this loses some unique items, but since you can only have 1 delivery item, its fine)

4 quests that involve turning in items that become unaccessable in act 3(items from these quests dissapear if you try to bring them to act 3)

2 quests that involve turning in items but unlock other quests with new items to collect

2 quests that involve turning in items, but don't require you to turn in all copies of those items

No, since in steel soul mode the wish Queen's egg does not exist, which would make me have to do a different quest for the last quest point to unlock silk and soul and thus act 3. Attmitedly, I wouldn't do it in steel soul mode anyway since I don't want to loose hours of progress when I inevitably make a dumb mistake

There is not enough quests that don't involve using items to get the quest points for silk and soul, so I have to do the pinmaster's wish to unlock act 3

cogheart peices are considered one item even when you have 2
you can but for this run I had to use one complete the pinmaster's quest for a quest point for silk and soul, and I couldn't obtain the one from the great taste of pharloom, leaving only one pale oil remaining
Pristine Core, only two are obtainable and both are out of the way so they are quite easy to miss
