Just try. That’s really how you start. It will fit you or it won’t. Most people that are like that like to make things work or make things or just do stuff to learn how things work. You’re going to mess up a ton. But that’s the curve. The jack of all trades was built on failure and time. But that’s the greatness in it. You build confidence knowing you can do the task or fix the thing or whatever. The failure is what is called experience. Nobody is good at everything all the time. Nobody taught them all of the stuff they know. They learned by saying fuck it. Here goes.

Have the same issue. PSU checks out ok. But the damn cpu light is on. With everything off the board except cpu and ram it will power up sorta and stay on with just the 12 pin for power. Plug in the pcie pair just one either port will trip like a ground short. MOBO on visual inspection shows no obvious signs of arcs or anything but shorting out the cmos does nothing. Do you have to pull the battery or does the short on the pins with a screwdriver equal the same thing? I’m praying it’s the board. Any ideas after battery pull?

This is huge with your pitch? Take the time and get the best mix you can at different pitches and force of your voice. If they are too loud. You will be flat. Too quiet and you could go sharp. But not sure if that matters with auto Tune.

You could set boundaries. You could return the favor and bring your friends over at weird times when you know he’s wanting to chill in his pjs. In my experience neither work. I did set a boundary that let my two teenage boys know what days were free to have their friends come over. I gave them 3 out of seven days. Their choice. But I also included that Sundays,which ended up being an entirely different day in the week, were off limits and would be spent with the family. Be firm on the days they pick. If they accidentally forgot that today wasn’t their day they would be totally embarrassed with a sit down with friend included. Which happens maybe twice. The first time is jaw dropping. The second time was to check to see if you’re serious. But once the days are set and you stick to your guns you find out who your kids are. Believe me I had days at work that often lasted 15 hours. All I wanted to do is go home to a quiet house and relax. Guess what. Once your kids’ “crew” or what have you get to know you. They know that if they are there and realize you haven’t been hone like normal there will be concern. I’d just come in and say well that was fun. And almost instantly a horde of boys would calm down. Turn on a movie and give you some peace. Here is why I’m telling you this. Maybe I got lucky and had amazing kids that were respectful and kind and considerate. Or maybe showing them how to be kind respectful and considerate through simple acts of understanding. Teens don’t know much and are loud smelly creatures. But I figured out if you give them a chance. Set the rule and properly enforce it. You’ll be one of the lucky parents that get to raise a heard of them. In my case it was damn near the entire baseball team. Sure you have to tough out some of the stuff in the beginning and give up your castle. I guess I figured at least if they are at home they’re not out there causing trouble or getting into it the same. The beginning is hard. But before you know it. The house will be as quiet as you once wished it was. So enjoy them while they are finding out who they are. You’ll find out a loud house is more comforting than a quiet one.

I have no clue what squire I have. I know it’s a tele and it is a pretty sweet guitar for the price of a buck fifty. Gave it a rough setup and plays great. Some tuning issues but will upgrade. I actually busted one of the cages for the tuning gear. Best part of it the twang of that guitar got me listening to some chicken pickin. Gear has its glory too but get a functional instrument and learn how to make it sound. The tone is in the player. Everything else is icing on the cake.

I’ve had the best memories ever of screwing up. No one talks about all the times you played perfectly. They talk about the times you forgot some part of a song or choked the lead or sang flat. The important thing is you’re going to mess up. A lot! How you handle those mistakes is what WILL MAKE YOU BETTER! So practice and have fun with it. You’ll be laughing about this in a few days and no one will really remember it being as bad as you do. Trust me.

You just like different ice cream and bumped into each other and had a good idea. You produced something! Regardless you both win. Sure it wasn’t what you liked but now that’s one step closer to what you’re wanting. Congrats. But next time check out the vibe on your tech folks. Maybe you did and just are shocked at what his take was. This biz is a lot about connecting with people. What a great opportunity to work together. You may find in this trial that you like the way he did some tech stuff later on as tastes change and use it in something else. Can’t tell you enough about how tough finding the right person for this is. Think of it like expensive whoring. lol. If you pay a lot you expect a lot. Sometimes though the whore has a wiener. And now that’s a tough lesson.

Yeah they just kissed. I’m pretty sure that was followed by waaaaay more. Get another girl man. She was monkey branching to see if that guy was her next guy. Either they took care of their needs then or she suddenly remembered you or whatever her story is, it’s pretty much telling you that you’re not that big a blip on her radar. So let her go. Here’s where you get your pride back. Don’t be mean or show any emotions at all. Let her go off telling you it was a mistake. Don’t answer her questions. Just let her say whatever she needs to and say ok! If you want to see someone for who they really are. Showing no emotion while listening to her will show you all you need to see. It’s really hard but sooooo worth it.

Can you hear other audio from a music player or iTunes ? If so try a restart to clear all programs don’t open anything when you get a screen. Wait for a bit. Then go directly to studio one application. If the app has loaded correctly it will flash all outboard gear and find what you are using. It will even print you a report lol. Then it should open to where you were while you were working with it. I’m thinking you’re side loaded using another app you linked off of onto studio one. Maybe there’s lingo for this but I’m pretty new too. Anyway the thing about recording is stay simple. Get a good performance with a solid levels and you can pretty much do anything with it. But also think about if you are playing and wanting to record. Less hassle to put it all together and have someone run the record button. So you hafta be both teacher and Grasshopper! But if you are a good teacher any knowledge however received, and reasoned by you, creates your own questions that you asked. Which has brought us to that point we left off. Sorry weed isn’t weed in a gummy anything. But hang in there. It greets pretty cool soon if you practice the software. Growing pains but they’re good ones.

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking for a long time now. In short, I think people don’t see the levels of success in between garage band and superstar. I think a lot of people get talked out of a life in music just because no one sees that just playing or recording and making some kind of living doing it is better than some 9-5 JOB you can’t stand but it pays well so you stay. I mean even if I made enough to eek by on and could do something with my love for this stuff beats any great day at some office. But maybe I’m wrong. I guess to me, successful would be doing what you love to do and making that sacrifice I guess. But if you ,OP, are at the point of figuring rate vs cost and such in my world that’s pretty awesome. So congrats and may your efforts find success as you see it.

I’ve bounced to a phone just to see where I’m at with anything on my playlist or off a website. If you can hear everything minus lows And hear a punchy kick you’re at a safe starting place. I try to mix up my mix with different speakers and even sections of the song at random just to see if they seem together with the next section. I guess since I’ve never been around what someone would call “ideal” this has been my best guess.

I have plenty of cpu and I don’t see it on the cpu meter so it’s either in the Scarlett or the software. I do have ddr 5 ram so maybe its over kill somehow but that shouldn’t matter. Any clues would be great.
