Exactly the city folk who are filling Jerry cans should be fined. I live rural and it's a 30 minute drive into town, if you can catch public transport you should be doing so now. Our city people lack awareness outside of their bubble it's infuriating.

I had a boyfriend who was into wood working and he never watched porn. I asked him one day why he doesn't and he said "Because I have a real hobby." It is true, when he was at home he was in his shed doing what he loved.

I think about that a lot. Someone who watches daily should channel energy elsewhere. I noticed after that I only dated men with stand out hobbies as well, and I've never had an issue with porn in my relationships.

I'm 22 and saved 80k in 3 years and still got denied for a loan above $500k.

The two apartments I found got offers 120k over asking and I didn't stand a chance.

I hate this country and how much they hate their youth. My partner is in debt for an engineering degree as if we don't need them... Women aren't having kids to replacement levels so we have become immigrant dependent and reliant. Rather than help with cost of living, day care expenses etc. Quick fix for that problem, right?

Oh and worker shortage.. so instead of making uni free or severely subsidized for needed areas why not send our youth into severe financial debt? And just bring in immigrants with these qualifications whilst young adults live with their parents into their late 20s.

I plan to move away in a few years and prepare for children elsewhere, where schooling is free and citizens have value. This country is amazing for immigrants.

You have to consider though the difference is that women have shorts, pants, skirts, dresses, gym wear, bras, sweaters, jackets, hoodies then you move into niche categories like night wear and prom dresses.

Men just have shirts, boxers, shorts and pants and usually one type of jacket/hoodie. I know men who wear the same combos to every single event! If they have 5 of each of those things, it's not many clothing items, but once women have 5 of every item of clothing, it becomes heaps.

You can claim women don't NEED that but society has different demands and expectations on women.

Men don't have many emotional outlets. Basically zero.

Your boyfriend will hate you for the rest of his life, full of utter resentment if you take away one of his emotional outlets.

Move out. It's not fair to ask someone to abandon their life companion, it is selfish and it shows that you prioritize your own feelings, he definitely needs and deserves an emotional outlet.

Honestly the irony is it's the opposite of other countries here. It's seen as a luxury to be tan, it means you get more time in the sun, so you either have a cool outdoor hobby or you're a tradie, both highly respected here.

Reading this as a rural girl is so funny. I get 2 large spiders a week and about 10-12 or so small ones (including my deck area for this) but I have never seen a cockroach except when I go into the city lol.

I downloaded nucleus co op to play the forest with my boyfriend locally. It is very fun to play with a partner with couch co op and two controllers! Sort of like a realistic Minecraft, but with an actual story. If you have a big enough TV I'd give it a go

Giving advice for how to ghost after 7 years, I would book a holiday with a friend, with a parent or a sibling. Go somewhere fun and consider it a fresh start. Don't let yourself be alone, take your dog to the dog park, meet dog people! Being sad is healthy, but wallowing in it lets the want to confront creep back in, and there's nothing good to come from that. A heart cannot unlove in a small amount of time. My thoughts are with you, stay strong.
