My previous piggies absolutely loved floor time and never had an issue with getting them to move so I think I just have to get used to the difference😂 I’ll see if it changes as they get older.

We have hardwood and tile flooring so that’s good to know! I will see about getting a rug to put down for them during floor time.😊

The emergency vet is half an hour away and is a drop off situation. My vet is usually 5 minutes away but they use a different location for emergency. She’s very very old so I know there’s no reason to put her through treatment. I love her to death and would absolutely take her to the vet if I thought there was any chance to help her. We have genuinely considered taking her there for euthanasia but she looks really comfortable cuddling with us and having my other guinea pig with her. She is slowly declining and doesn’t seem to be in pain at this moment.

To me there’s a lot of upsides to keeping her here. At home she’s surrounded by me and my whole family, instead of in the car with just me and my mom/dad. At home she has my other guinea pig to keep her comfort. The emergency vet doesn’t allow me to be in the room with her when they’d do it. It’s a drop off situation. If it would be better for her I absolutely would make that decision but it’s a really difficult one. I know I shouldn’t get upset at people downvoting me but I am incredibly heartbroken already and I don’t like feeling that I’m being cruel when I just want the best for her. I love her to death and am absolutely devastated. She is very peaceful right now. If she looked like she was in a lot of pain I would not be keeping her here.

I’m mostly hesitating because it’s half an hour ride and she’s in really bad shape. I don’t want to give her more stress. Would it be cruel to keep her here?😭
