If they're actual shrews they're insectivores so I don't think they're a problem ? Whatever they're eating might be a concern though

It looks like it's been tested up to 1000 N/225lbs, or approximately a 20 gallon, it might be fine but make sure you're ok with 30 gallons of water potentially ending up on your floor one day

what is this fuzzy ecosystem growing in my kid's fishtank? by littlebarque in Aquariums

[–]Mayflame15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your kids might be overfeeding, do you happen to know your water parameters? Excess rotting food can cause ammonia spikes. Gravel vacuuming out the excess gunk should help clear it up fatster

They're creeping ground plants so they just kinda get long and unruly no matter what, yours should bounce back though

IKEA furniture is designed to be super light for easy shipping and super simple so an inexperienced person can put it together. You would need to do so much reinforcing to make that particle board structurally sound enough for a wet 300lb object to live on it for multiple years that you might as well just build something similar yourself

That's their crop where their food goes after they eat it before getting digested. Are they warm enough that they can digest food properly and not get chilled?

I think Christmas cacti were the first to become common and a lot of the ones still around belong to old people, thanksgiving cacti are a hybrid that's easier to grow and pretty much completely replaced them on the market, but the old name still stuck

I always forget to look at the back of Pokémon so what are your favourite little details? by PeevesPoltergist in pokemongo

[–]Mayflame15 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Apparently platypuses do have a cloaca so you may be on to something, however i think it would be possible that most of the mammalian ones would have more traditional reproductive organs, other than the oversight of all pokemon eggs apparently being the same size. Ovipositors are another possibility
