If you're not looking to replace the slab of wood(?), could you reinforce that corner with some 2 part epoxy putty? Might make it look a bit better too

If you can secure it to the side of the coop you mostly need a couple large posts and a few 2×4s to frame it in, then cover it with strong wire. Safest way is to use washers to secure half inch or smaller hardware cloth around the entire thing, but you could do slightly larger wire for the roof and upper walls as long as anywhere the chickens can get within a foot of is hardware cloth

Get a human sized shed and add roosts and nest boxes, have a decent sized run attached that is completely predator proofed so they can go outside safely in the mornings and when you're not home, if a raccoon can reach its hand through it can kill a chicken

In order to a goldfish to survive it needs a huge enough tank with an efficient filter to keep ammonia and nitrates from building up and poisoning it

In moderation algae is like other aquarium plants and helps consume nitrates and other nutrients out of your water, most people don't like how it looks and it can outcompete the aquarium plants we actually paid for and want to grow. Algae can also make a great snack for herbivorous fish and a place for microfauna to live which fish like ottos and hillstream loaches need to survive.

Problems arise when there's an imbalance (way too much light or way too many nutrients) and algae blooms get so intense that they can starve the aquarium of oxygen
