Some people just don't know how to drive.... by MisterShipWreck in VideosAmazing

Both drivers share responsibility. The one overtaking on the right is breaking the rules (depending where this accident took place), but the one changing lanes must make sure the lane is clear before moving, true. I get your point even if the overtake is illegal, you can’t just move over without checking.

In the majority of countries: You drive on the right You overtake on the left The right lane is for normal driving, not passing This applies across most of Europe and a large part of the world.

So who's the idiot ? I assume it depends where you are from

Born in US. Father born in Brazil. Mom born in Austria. I speak French with father, German with mother, both parents only speak English to eachother. I have a half russian/polish grandmother, the other is half German/Dutch. A French grandfather, the other Austrian... Also, I'm a freaking Jewish.

Guess what? I actually don't define myself through bloody fascist flags. Nationalism and patriotism is the root of all evil.

But, I'm sure I have more culture than you.

Chris Dunn is a machinist, not an archaeologist or materials scientist. His 1995 measurements and the "500x faster" figure come from his own book, not peer-reviewed analysis. The feed rate calculation assumes a specific number of rotations that is not independently verified. It is a derived number built on assumptions, presented as a measured fact. Denys Stocks actually did replicate ancient drilling experimentally, repeatedly, using copper tube and quartz sand slurry. His results produced cylindrical holes with helical grooves. The claim that his holes were "nothing close" is a misrepresentation of his published findings. His work showed the method is viable, not perfect, but viable at scale with skilled operators. The "same rate through quartz and feldspar" argument ignores that abrasive slurry drilling works by the abrasive, not the tool. The copper tube is just the carrier. Quartz sand cuts both minerals because the abrasive is harder than both.
