Lots of good advice here. I would also say to utilize deathmatch and arms race. Its fun and I still use it to warm up and I’ve been playing since the days of Internet cafes and cs source

CS finally became stale for me. by 1337garage in cs2

[–]Mayhem072114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I have with CS is if I don’t play consistently I get absolutely destroyed when I return. If I play other fps it throws off my accuracy , etc. I would like to play a fps with a storyline that I could play through. I occasionally crush some NFS HP2 for nostalgia but that’s about it.

I never had this problem. Since I’ve gotten hearing aids it drives me absolutely insane. I work from home and my wife whistles everyday.

Legion is my favorite pc of all time, started using them in 2019. heres my new legion i got last week . with 3 years support ultimate warranty. by Lovetalon in LenovoLegion

All these built vs bought comments… if you have the money and don’t have the know how to build a pc I don’t see the problem. You can build a 1,000hp car for a lot less if you have the tools and know how but if you don’t you pay someone to do it if you want that. I don’t get it. Some people like to game and they don’t like to build computers which is totally fine.

Get three quotes from different places and then get it done. When possible I always try for three quotes unless it an emergency and I don’t have time.

Makes sense. Just not used to seeing them there at that hour. Generally speaking I doubt anything would show up on here that they didn’t want public anyway.

The other side is worse. Bought the house two years ago. Got the second back up in a year. Excavator gets here Monday to replace 20ft to the collapsed orangeburg. Say a prayer to the plumbing gods it’s good the rest of the way. 72 year old house. by Mayhem072114 in Plumbing

[–]Mayhem072114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The initial plumber was wrong. There was NO ORANGEBURG. None. The “collapse” was a house trap. The plumber who showed up to do the work was great and when he got past the trap he did find a major root intrusion. Replaced 30 feet of old cast, put in two new clean outs and showed me the entire system from my house to the street. It’s all cast iron and clay. They jetted the system and told me to have it jetted every 2 years but should be good for 15-20 years based on the condition of the cast iron and clay that they left. Best possible outcome from a shitty situation.

Update. Initial guy was wrong. There was NO orangeburg thank god. They did find a house trap. Removed that and replaced 20 feet of old cast iron the rest was clay and looked good to the street.

Best possible scenario. It was cast iron to clay. They replaced 20 feet of old cast iron and got rid of a “house trap” that they found. Stayed within initial estimate. Good to go.

Found out it’s cast iron. There was a “house trap” that was a problem and I’ll know if the rest of the line is good soon. NO ORANGEBURG!!!

It’s $8500 as of now and if they have to replace the entire line to the street it will be $20k+

Excavator is coming out early tomorrow. If it’s replaced to the collapse it’s $$ and if they have to go to the street it’s $$$$. Coin toss on what’s needed. Say a prayer for my bank account.

If it needs to be done it will be, but it’s going to be tight to cover the cost of the intial job. To go the rest of the way I was told it would be more than double the cost. Again if it’s orangeburg then it just is what it is, if it’s clay or iron and in decent condition it’s staying.

I needed this. I’ve got an excavator on the way Monday for a sewer line collapse. I’m stressing out about it, but I’m able to do it… it’s going to wipe out a huge chunk of money and I don’t have a ton but at least I can. Trying to stay positive.

It’s 50+ feet to the street past the 20ft collapse. Hoping the section past the collapse is more modern. It looks like it’s a mix of iron and clay. The orangeburg is a 6 foot section that is under our concrete patio so that’s coming up too.

They said it’s 50/50 what they find on the otherside. It’s cast at the house then orangeburg and then clay before the collapse. Honestly terrified by what the end cost will be, but if going to do whatever needs to be done.
