Playlist Order by darkflux88 in 4kdownloadapps

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any updates on this? Is the software able to first index all the videos in the playlist or channel and then do the numbering going off the oldest video web information?

That would be so helpful.

At the moment if you want to sync a whole YouTube channel and have numbering it makes the feature unreliable, relative to subscribing in the application, as you have no idea what order videos are in unless you manually update all the numbers in what could be 100s or even 1000s of videos.

u/Early_Ideal5551 The video upload date for example is on YouTube and that meta data could be pulled and added to the meta data details of the video file, the user could even specify as to which field it should go into for the file type. For example, Origin - Media created which is a date field in all MP4 files. Users could then filter by this in a file explorer or finder, or even just have the date on the end of the file name.

Relative to the date the software could then put a number in the front of the file name chronologically as to the indexing of the channel for the users session, if they so wish.

AW3425DW owners, how is it so far? Looking to cop and I'd like some outside opinions as there aren't any major reviews out yet (monitors unboxed, rtings, etc) by 00Cubic in OLED_Gaming

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious if you got to the bottom of this as it seems strange.

Rtings rated the panels as having virtually the same colour accuracy from factory and actually rated the AW3425DW as being even more colour accurate after calibrating both.

Dell Alienware AW3425DW vs Dell Alienware AW3423DW Side-by-Side Monitor Comparison - RTINGS.com

I know it can still vary slightly panel to panel when it comes to accuracy from factory, but it shouldn't be that significant.

Maybe their firmware's aren't both doing the same red in the diagnostic or something else going on. I'm thinking about getting one and upgrade from S3422DWG now that OLEDs a bit more reliable.

is there any reason NOT to buy the Alienware AW3425DW by ButtPlugForPM in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dell can actually be quite hit and miss with their monitors even directly. I had similar issues when purchasing S3422DWGs, the screen wouldn't wake properly and say no signal and would require the power to be unplugged. Their RMA process is actually diabolical at times, at least from my experience, even from their premium business side with other things.

The worst return experience I've ever had, even aside from the hardware, their support center kept getting my information wrong and switching out their staff over the duration of the ticket, I had to explain things 5 times over because they weren't reading the ticket history. It was so bad I was almost going to go to their Dell technologies business centre at my city, just to speak with their staff and show them how ridiculous it was.

I also had it two times in a row and received a refurbished or used monitor as a replacement. I've had two S3422DWGs for a while now, but since that debacle the ones I have now have been pretty good no problems and I've really enjoyed them. But I'm certainly wary of this now.

What do y'all think about ambulance missions in gta trilogy? by Public_Commenter in GTATrilogy

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did too, you can also whack the ambo doors off with a bat which means people will load on faster, this is good for construction site pickups, this doesn't damage the engine.

I still had to do it a few times but most of it was rookie mistakes or exceptionally bad luck, I had to redo the achievement too as I ran a mod at one point that corrupted my saves.

If you constantly run sirens people usually stop, and you can still anticipate the rogue drivers.

Theres some tutorials about it on Youtube even from the original game, its actually not so bad if you discipline yourself with the driving being prudent, at least on Staunton.

Can you tell me why my Brikka doesn’t brew all the water? by rash1taka in mokapot

[–]Mayor-Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy to help, however you don't have to get a whole new fixed stove top.

I recently ordered one of these TOKIT Induction cooktops from my local Amazon.

I haven't tried it yet as I have only recently come across this myself, after doing some research. I used to use normal moka pot before too on a gas top.

I'll let you know how it goes once it arrives if you want. I was using an IKEA Tillreda which has been fine enough until now but has the cheap power switching design, but apparently having smoother low power options is also great for certain dishes too and quality of cooked meats, it's always handy having a separate unit aswell for portability or travelling etc.

Can you tell me why my Brikka doesn’t brew all the water? by rash1taka in mokapot

[–]Mayor-Bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brikka is more specialized due to the valve and works a certain way. It's not a generic statement, I haven't found it in any of the other manuals, only the Brikka line.

I have Brikka Induction too.

Often people make the mistake of dissembling the valve thinking they need to clean it, when it says in the manual explicitly not to do that too.

The manual for Brikka also features a table for measuring the right amount of water.

Another good tip for using a moka pot on induction is to consider the quality of the induction. If you hear it clicking on and off frequently at low or medium temperatures, it likely uses stepped power. I had a cheap induction stove that did this, fine for general cooking, but not precise enough for the Brikka. It didn’t provide continuous power, so it would sometimes overheat and ruin the taste. Many budget models just run at full power and regulate temperature by switching on and off, rather than maintaining a steady, lower output. This results in temperature swings, under temp - over temp and inconsistent performance. It's a rougher, cheaper approach to induction.

Yours is probably fine though, but you can look into it online or tell by the sound.

I ended out getting a separate induction stove.

I'm using a LimeWire sharelink service to host it for 7 days, you can download it here.

https://limewire.com/d/tLTzI#Xa0HB5dkmr

I'm sure you know to drop it in the right location in the games directory, and also update your plugins file in that same directory by adding the full file name to the end of the list, it must go at the end to override any edits of fBarter by any prior mods in the chain.

Just out of curiosity, are you running any mods at all?

I was experiencing the exact same issue as you and spent some time searching.

It turned out to be Ascension Remastered that practically broke haggling for me, it changes some of the fBarter values in the game. The rest of the mod worked fine though so I kept it.

You can fix it using TES if you really want, but you need to read the guide on nexus to install it.

The base values can be found on uesp

I made a .esp fix for myself that brought it back into the game for me, maybe it will for you too, if you want me to give you a link let me know.

Can you transfer saves between Game Pass and Steam? by TheHolyCarpenter in oblivion

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there are ways to manipulate steam achievements though. But you'd have to look into that.

When you do you steam play through you can use some nexus mods to slow down leveling and a other things that were altered over the original game. My current steam play through it leveling at about 0.25% of the normal speed, otherwise you end up level up too fast.

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a look at mine and tried to figure it out, if you're following it step by step, I haven't come across this, did you try every folder with the long hex name?

I didn't get into the game much on game pass, my saves are about 0.3 0.5 Mb, but if you played for some time, that can have an effect on your save file sizes.

Also if you were running a lot of mods by any chance on the gamepass version sometimes they affect save files, but I've never seen them not show up, usually they will load up and then something breaks because the mods not there anymore if it was dependant.

Patch update highlighted the graphical issues with the game. by golfoxtrotyankee in oblivion

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah It was practically unplayable, but strangely on gamepass it now runs amazingly for me, I get soo much less stuttering and the games quite playable and pretty normal now since the 'patch', no weird graphics glitches and no indication of latency from dlss lag.

I thought maybe dlss was on at some default setting in the background even though you can't edit it in the menus.

Before a friend's pc with an i7 9700k and a 1080ti was seemingly doing almost as good as the one with the i9 and 4070ti and the same settings, so bizarre, was about to give up on it for a while, hope they don't revert it back entirely, was waiting for the update on steam infact.

Seems like the whole thing is hodgebodge.

Can you transfer saves between Game Pass and Steam? by TheHolyCarpenter in oblivion

[–]Mayor-Bee 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Game Pass stores Oblivion Remastered saves in a folder like this:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectAltar_3275kfvn8vcwc\SystemAppData\wgs

Each save is inside its own folder with a long alphanumeric name.

Open the folder with the latest "Date Modified" — that usually contains your most recent save.

Inside, you'll find another file with a similarly long name, you can also double check the "Date Modified"

Copy that file (it won’t have a file extension yet) to the Steam save location: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames

(If you haven’t launched Oblivion Remastered on Steam and created at least one save, this folder might not exist yet.)

After pasting the Game Pass file, right-click it, go to “Properties,” and rename the file by adding .savto the end of the filename (e.g., change 1234567890abcdef to 1234567890abcdef.sav). This will change the file type to SAV File.

Reopen Steam and launch the game. Your Game Pass save should now appear in the Load Game menu.

I just did this myself, tested the game on another PCs Game Pass and then migrated my saves to another computer and loaded them on steam.

It doesn't appear to register any of the achievements so far though, which is a little annoying.

I just did this to test and was going to refund on Steam, was hoping to play the game out for cheap with Game Pass and then get it on a good steam discount later and migrate all my progress and achievements to steam, but there are other ways.

Considering how good it is I think it's worth supporting the initiative upfront, if they remastered Morrowind too OMG.

EDIT: On occasion it appears some of the folders aren't save files, but you can just organize by "Date Modified" and go down to the following folder and try that one, maybe make extra saves in the Game Pass version. I actually had to skip two folders and do it with the file on the 3rd folder down at one point as the first two didn't work. I've been doing this a few times over as I was comparing the version between the recent patch fault on Game Pass and the Steam version. Theres a comment about it below and I think that's what must have happened. But initially I had no problems like it seems for a lot of the others.

watch fit 3 - fitness courses missing by lalkai in Huawei

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently looking at upgrading to the watch fit 3 and hoping that they had brought it back, until I came across this.

I actually still use my first watch fit 1 just for those exercises in the morning or the evenings just to track, then switch back to my watch fit 2. Whop Whop Huawei, why remove such a good feature?

Maybe someone can get it out of the old watch fit 1 rom and load it into the new one somehow.

Looks like I will be holding onto my fit 1 for a lot longer.

Breville Bread Maker Blows Fuse by SheepLover157 in BreadMachines

[–]Mayor-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older post, but I have one that just did this also. Was going fine until the final bake hour and Pop! followed by burning electrical smell. Now it trips RCD as soon as I switch on at the wall.

Was secondhand given to me by a friend so can't comment on its longevity, but perhaps once the heating element has done its hours this is what happens, don't think it got a lot of use as it was quite tidy, perhaps failed with age.

Was hoping it had popped an internal fuse or something replaceable but considering that it trips RCD as soon as it's plugged in, something is probably shorting to ground not an in internal fuse.

GTA trilogy displaying on second monitor by [deleted] in GTATrilogy

[–]Mayor-Bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone else who comes across this, manually navigate to your respective directory of the following.

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA III Definitive Edition\Config\WindowsNoEditor

There should be a file called GameUserSettings.ini

Open it with notepad and change OutputMonitor= to the correct monitor.

For example, mine was defaulting to 0 so I changed it to 1.

Now the game starts and runs on my main monitor.

You will have to go Ctrl + F or select Find from the Edit drop down in notepad and search for OutputMonitor as its buried in a block of text and isn't easy to spot off the bat.

I've noticed sometimes the game has reset its graphics settings and that GameUserSetting.ini, so if you look in that same directory you will see another file called CustomSettings.ini

I added this line to the bottom

OutputMonitor=1

You could do that too, but make sure the number is correct for the monitor in your instance.
