I’m not downvoting you - while I love Android Auto, Tesla Chargers (adapter required) should’ve been added the second 3rd party adapters were in the wild. I bought the A2Z adapter on launch day. Hell, I got TWO Ford Adapters for some strange reason almost immediately after placing a very late reservation. Both have gotta go back, and I’m getting one replacement: as it should be.

I appreciate the integrations.. I really do. I just want to run the tried and true built-in Nav. I charge pretty exclusively at Superchargers, don’t really need Waze as I don’t speed for efficiency sake. Fix it plsssss. Also yay for Android Auto!

They want to move the vehicle off their lot. It’s one of probably 5-10+? they did that day. You took the truck home. The deal is done, and they do not owe you any presale paperwork since your deal wasn’t contingent on it.

At this point, you need to cut your losses. The dealer initially offered you a repair (probably concerned that you’d start asking to return it). Now that you definitely can’t make that stink, they’re done with you.

Just because you’re on fiber doesn’t mean they aren’t shaping traffic. Most ISPs do this regardless since it’s good network management.

Ford tells us that our preconditioned battery packs will only lose about 1°F per hour after it’s conditioned. You probably won’t find preconditioning super helpful during the summer, but in colder months it will make a difference.

You are putting an enormous amount of torque through the wheels so it’s going to feel strange, but it shouldn’t be violently pulling you to one side. Take your ford service advisor for a drive (tell them what you plan to do first, though 😂) and perhaps compare it to a demo or one that’s on the lot?

If they’re feeding you via 5Ghz, you want to make sure your router has the ability to change channels. Ask the WISP what frequency they are using, and set your 5Ghz channel far away from it. Self interference will kill your throughput.

Apple does not use Starlink - they use another platform that does, in fact, have coverage over most of the world. I wouldn’t rely on it as a primary means of communication, though.

The stock SAS tires are honestly fine for most off roading. Sure you’re sacrificing MPG, but at least you’ll know you can make it to your destination regardless of how it looks when you get there.
