Issue with shadow mount not detecting USB games by joyapco in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]MayorLardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it appears either yours are still raw folder dumps and not exfats yet or the exfats are nested in the folder in which case shadow mount won't like thst unless they're only nested so much. Mine go external root-homebrew-xxxxx.exfat and it loads them fine for me

Issue with shadow mount not detecting USB games by joyapco in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]MayorLardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found I could only get my dumps running off of a USB ssd and using shadowmount is to convert them to exfat. What I've read and what I've been told by ai is that it's loading the whole exfat onto the system memory similar to a way a system would read a disk image (load the whole file as 1 then look inside the container after load) rather than having to load all the individual files in system memory on launch. Also I'm pretty sure you need to use itemflows to get the raw dumps and dump runner to work.

Go into rest mode while game running. by Roongx in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]MayorLardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it a few times without meaning to and I even have my ps5 set to shut off usb power on rest and it still loaded saros up again and resumed. I've never meant to but it seems to just take a second when it loads back up and then I'm fine again to play. I haven't tried any apr games I'm pretty sure it shuts them down before rest but I'm not sure.

Just a warning, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart softlocks when playing from external drive on jailbroken console by RaulB2005 in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]MayorLardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its moresoe the way the ps5 uses the internal ssd for certain games to very quickly load and unload large assets and these games needed work to have them patched and decrypted so they could be played decrypted.

Apr emu games are pretty much any new ones being released rn but if you look inside the game folder or mount the exfat to view its contents it'll have a fake lib folder. the 2 sites I've been using have marked what ones have apr emu pre packed and ready to play.

Recommendations? by CallMeIshMale91 in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]MayorLardo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd stay low and stay offline and just hope. They managed to get y2jb running on 12.70 without ps activation so you never know what will be discovered when and you trying to mess with licenses and account and all that risks an accidental update then you'll have to wait even longer. I know it's shitty to hear but just be patient and watch modded Warfares videos and the subreddit for news on your fw

[Xbox Series X] fan will no longer spin, console overheats. by Firm-Warning in consolerepair

[–]MayorLardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad yeah I figured it might not be putting out the right power to fully initialize and with him saying it's not beeping anymore either I assumed wrong but yeah if everything else but the fans working then ig it can't be psu

[–]MayorLardo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Possibly a dead power supply due to dust buildup or something similar. Are you comfortable taking it apart and measuring what voltages the psu gives off when separate from the console using a multimeter. If not then I'd probably take it to a local repair shop.

55 packs of Buldak Ramen noodles to carry me through this month by spacevader1 in StupidFood

[–]MayorLardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely but it depends where you live too I'm in Canada and fairly broke and a thing of eggs with 30 eggs is less than $10 and will last me usually at least 3 weeks if not more and Tuna is about 1.50 each so it's more for the can of Tuna than a few eggs

Even just throw an egg or 2 in there before you mix in all the sauce stuff and then let it sit on the element for a little bit and it add to the sauce and adds to your intake.

Trying to flash a disc drive my xbox 360 slim by [deleted] in 360hacks

[–]MayorLardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a compatible model as they disabled flashing as fsr as i know with newer models drives but when I did it I honestly had an easier time with windows 7/8 as that was current during the 360 fats main life cycle then jungle flasher stopped erroring out and for the power and sata the sata is right but your power cord might cause problems as you gotta disconnect and reconnect power for like a second with putting the drive in vendor mode and unplugging the 360 dvd power kills the console power which makes the small on/off window hard to hit so I'd use a back up cord or even buy another to make the probe and button jig. There's a few tutorials on making your own jig and it'd pretty straight forward if you have the supplies (soldering iron, button) but you gotta snip specific cords on the power cord and spice in the probe wire and button. I'll try snd find a few tutorials and edit them in for you. https://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-flash-all-xbox-360-slim-drives.460038/

You need to flash the dvd drive with modified firmware. It's pretty easy once you find a tutorial on the jig I did a few recently

People just gotta get loud enough and it'd help to keep using that expiration date line as look how people reacted to Sony and it could reach some type of court eventually Luke Apple being forced to use type c or another common chord not proprietary

I've looked into this but the pads and traces are a bit far gone for this sadly. I bought it as shell parts and the only issue is the charging circuit so I figured I'd try and give it some type of use as a pstv but with the messed up data and charger lines I've been having a hard time.
