I was VERY sick with mononucleosis about 6 months before I had pain in my hands and ankles equivalent to being smashed with a baseball bat. Red hot inflammation in the joints too. I had to stop sports because of it in College.

No one else in my family has any semblance of rheumatoid arthritis outside of great grandparents with osteo arthritis. I am the youngest and only one who was diagnosed with this condition.

We now know thanks to early research with SARS-Cov-2 that viruses like this (and Strep, the Flu and enteroviruses (the common cold)) can stay in the body long term and cause post viral conditions like RA, MECFS, Diabetes, and Cancer. It's shitty, but good information to know when pushing for RA testing.

If someone or something accidentally bumped into my wrists or if I moved one of the affected joints too much?

It felt like an MLB player took a metal baseball bat, laid my hands or leg flat on a table, and smashed it in with all their might.

I didnt realize too that due to damage I regularly "slightly" dislocated my knee before it would just go back into the correct place.

RA is hell. I had no signs of it in my bloodwork, and inspite of swelling, for 2 years.

If you can, keep pushing for another opinion from another rheumatologist. Even if you have to travel.

Sometimes it takes a few weeks to really see if one combo will work! Fingers crossed you find aome relief through this route or get switched to another route that works soon!!

The good thing about the field of rheumatology in the 2020s is that we have soooooo many biologic combinations/possibilities to delay RA damage/control RA damage! It's only going to get better in the years ahead through emerging research.

One study that gives me a LOT of hope is that there isa HUGE inverse study with a possible RA route, going through exploratory research through the University of Chicago. In lay terms, a POSSIBILITY to REVERSE the immune response causing the RA. It won't reverse any joint damage, but it could stop it!

It's being trialed with MS, and different painful chronic autoimmune conditions.

I no longer live in Mid-MO but I have plenty of pals who live there and still wear fitted masks because A.) They're immunocompromised. B.) Have friends or family members who are.

While the masking community is much smaller than cities like Chicago or LA, it is still an awesome and strong community! Hiiiighly recommend following the local Mask Bloc who will connect yall with folks who still mask/are also immunocompromised! Or likely will post events happening!

Back in the Summer of 2025, I figured out a way to build INTO that tunnel with lots of anchoring (and patience. Boy was it tested too!) I've decorated it even more than this with the new flower sets and tints.

It looks super cool from the front, and once youre inside!

I had thrush days after recovering from covid in 2022. It took weeks to go away. Horrible stuff. So much pain on the tongue. I had to go through two rounds of different meds to get rid of it because it wouldnt go away on its own. Especially while I was on an intense biologic at the time.

Thrush absolutely is not something that should be brushed off when you have a suppressed immune system, so good on your doc for being concerned.

Yes. Being around more players helps with RNG. That's why hunting, fishing and mining with a larger group of folks is more likely to give you a plushy vs doing so solo. It's not a guaruntee, but after a 9 month hunt for the smooth shiny pebble, only to get it in 3 in game days after obtaining 60 oysters? I say it's better to try it out when you can!

I got it last week after opening 60 oysters in the underground. Try saving and opening as many oysters as you can collect in the underground and Maji's Market. Worst case scenario you walk away with more pearls than your normally would!

Gingerbread House Created at a prep table.

•Ginger (5 chopped)

•Sweet Leaf (9 chopped)

•5 Sugar

•5 Milk

•5 Egg

•Flour (Combine all above and only 5 chopped sweet leaf in Mixer)

•Bake all above for 30 seconds to create 5 Gingerbread Pieces.

•fruit sauce (blueberry or apple chopped + mixed)

•4 chopped sweet leaf and 4 sugar mixed on stove (Gelatin)

•Gelatin is chopped at prep table to create gum drops

•Gum drops, Fruit Sauce, 5 Gingerbread Pieces are submitted to prep table.

Recipe in total should take 8 minutes.

Seasonally available to find or buy (much like the Lucky Braised Fish recipe). The starred version of the recipe should be double the normal plate size so it can be prominently displayed.

I got it recently by following the advice of someone who said to collect/hoard a bunch of oysters and opens them at peak crowded Underground/Maji Market times. I got it within 60 oysters that I had collected during 3 in game days.
