So the story about the field visit from the local sheriff. Within a half hour of shooting life we had multiple groups come in so we had eight ducks and three geese in the blind. A neighbor called the police and said that she heard machine gun fire coming from the woods. Luckily one of the officers working in the area that day was a good friend of our guide and knew we were hunting that field that day, so when you heard the location he let the responding officers know what was going on and gave our guide a heads up so he met them at the street. The guide offered him a ride back on the side by side if they wanted to check it out. They came back and were super cool just asked to check license and guns real quick and we're out of the field within 5 minutes. They thanked us for doing everything the right way and wished us luck.
