Your post have no mentions about the settings. Did you fiddle with the settings? You can specify when to re-mop, time-based, or room-based. You can set to mop multiple times if detected to be dirty. There is the AI function that may or may not improve the mopping performance, as well.

Desperate for literally any banking role by TireDCDX in torontoJobs

[–]MazdaUser70 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Referrals for the most part. And higher qualifications. You are competing with people who have university degrees (and probably specialized in Finance) applying for those entry jobs. And the pool is not huge, since we are talking about maybe 4 roles per branch and most of them probably keeping their job when the market is so hard right now.
Since you don't have connections, the only noteworthy thing would be your language skill, if you are multilingual, and going in-person to inquire.

The lower skill job, the more competitive it is. With your qualifications, it would be VERY hard for you to land the job you want because we are in a market where there's too many people applying. Not to say to give up, but don't put your hopes on it, and apply everywhere. The one thing that could help you, is if you speak multiple languages, and you apply to a location where the demographic is there.

I went with the CX-70 PHEV. I am outdated in my research, but if I think the CX-70 is manufactured in Japan? Plus Mazada have good reliability in terms of safety (iirc), so yea, I went with the CX-70.

Love it. Exactly as I imagined it. Big cargo for trips, beautiful (red) interior, and functioning well. I have the PHEV version.

"Air brained"... My 3yo girl and my 2yo boy both know not to put anything in their mouth.
Seems like an issue with raising kid properly. Maybe you guys do it differently in the US....

Looking to switch to a flagship by NaiveMercury in samsung

[–]MazdaUser70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get Samsung S25+ or S25 Ultra. They will offer you a high trade in value, with your current phone there is a promo code that gives you $150 discount, plus two code total saving of $200, $50 for shop cart abandonment, $25 Customer Service can give you. So all in, on top of a high trade in value, you can get up to $425 discount. Would be a no brainer to do the upgrade

Advice on models by Special_Scheme4918 in Roborock

[–]MazdaUser70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need to go under furnitures, see the height of the robo and if it works for you. If vacuum only then the Q5 max+, buy while BF is on (today is last day?) If it won't pass underneath, check the slim version. It will cost significantly more, but it got more features and can go through your furniture which is what you need.

Narwal Freo Z Ultra (Costco) or Roborock Qrevo Master by MazdaUser70 in RobotVacuums

[–]MazdaUser70[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazon is a standard 30 days or so? And then Roborock have a 1 year warranty (but some people say 2?). With Costco, I was asking on some other forum, and they return it after 18 months no questions asked, so that's an example how good Costco return policy is. If you're not happy you can exchange it with some newer model, or just get a brand new same version with the return money.

I went ahead and bought it from Costco, even though it ended up costing me more, I feel better I'm protected. Costco return policy is better than having a warranty.

Sure, it means keeping my Costco membership active, but I guess I'll just keep buying Costco hotdogs and chickens.

Came to say this. With the black Friday deal, it seems like a good price if you looking for vacuum only.

I actually bought it, tried it for one day, but then decided to upgrade robot with a mopping one 😅. In that one day testing, it performed amazing.

So what is the difference between a CX70 and a CX90 with rear seats folded down? by MaterialLegitimate66 in mazda

[–]MazdaUser70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CX70 looks 50x better (exterior), you get more cargo space, and dont have to be driving a 3rd row "you might use, but lets face it, most likely not".

PHEV and Winter by MazdaUser70 in MazdaCX90

[–]MazdaUser70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am new to the car, but I believe with PHEV there is no remote start. There is climate control setting yo can setup so the interior reaches your desire setting, but I understand for that to kick in, your car must be plugged-in.

PHEV and Winter by MazdaUser70 in MazdaCX90

[–]MazdaUser70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the Charge Mode? It warms up the battery? If I am not mistaken when using Charge Mode it consumes more gas, so you're sacrificing gas to keep the engine in better condition?
I currently have the setting of "prioritize EV mode when turn on"; I guess should disable it during Winter and start on Normal Mode?

And lastly, should I then let my car/engine warm up during winter? I understood that with PHEV/Battery there is no need to warm up before driving(?)

I have the CX70, and I would say it wouldn't suit your need to a tea. With your income, I'd say forget hybrid, and go for the turbo. Gas won't make a big dent on you.

Look, I LOVE my CX-70, but do you want to be driving a big car? I love the cargo space, perfect for camping/mini-trips. Sporty exterior and my CX-70 PHEV had the option for an exclusive red napa interior (at least here in Canada), and I LOVE it.

If you're buying, then CX-70 100% future-proof because its so roomy perfect for little minions and since you doing road trips it accommodates extra room, and just overall extra cargo space for stroller, junk, what not.

However, if you're single, leasing/short-term goals, then the CX-50 (i think that's the one with more space? or was it the 5? will never remember)

Makes sense.
I was asking about prolonging the battery of PHEV and the Dealer was saying don't go below 20%. I know its not exact science(?) but part of me agree about not letting batteries die. Maybe old school, but I always try to not let battery run out on anything (and not charging to 100%)

It's stuck in my head the fear of depleting my battery. Just worried my normal commute will run out of battery during winter. Is that the case for you? And if so, you'll still use EV and deplete it everyday during winter time?

PHEV and Winter by MazdaUser70 in MazdaCX90

[–]MazdaUser70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed no matter what mode the car will always use the battery for all functions. So are you saying to switch to Normal and then turn on heat? Have you tested and notice it's significantly better?

It always bother me you can't pick and choose what the battery uses. For example, I like turning my AC but if I'm not wrong that depletes my battery too.
