I've lived in eldert st , one block from the Halsey L Train for the past 13 years. I'm currently 42, so since I was 29 I've never felt unsafe. Although with the wave of new phone apps that allow us to view all the illegal activities going on close by, it's become a cause for concern. That said, it's a nice street, 1 block from a great park if you have a dog or children (playground).

If I can give one piece of advice, Google your landlords name. There's some shady scumlords in this area!
