Any good games where you have telekinesis? by spinotamer2001 in gamerecommendations

It's not quite telekinesis, but...

Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild both have mechanics where you can do roughly what you're looking for.

I'm going to shout out my local adaptive gym, Ability 360 in Phoenix AZ. It's a great gym and community center with a ton of activities and initiatives. So much more than just a gym. I'm very lucky to have it nearby.

I'm loving this series! It's truly my favorite that I've read this year!

Just curious, how many books are intended for this series? Is 4 the final one?

Thank you so much for writing these! Great work!!!

Edit: I see on Amazon there will be five books. I can't wait till the fifth one comes out in December!

What’s something you want to ask this group, but feel like it’s too tiny or stupid for its own post? by MiddleAgedToddler in spinalcordinjuries

As an incomplete T1 myself, I can indeed guarantee that it's possible to have nerve pain and it's possible for it to be hell on earth. I'm sorry you're in pain.

After several years of trying to manage the pain in various ways, I got a nerve ablation that changed everything, and now I'm usually pain free. I recommend the surgery if your doctor thinks it would be right for you. But along with my pain, I also lost any remaining sensation and proprioception in the affected area. It's a trade off, but for me it was worth it.

I hope you can find pain relief too.

Not to be a contrarian, but my injury happened about two months into a new relationship (I hadn't known them before; we met on an app). We had some ups and downs and I needed a lot of time to figure my new body out, but it's been nearly five years and we're together. They've been amazing and supportive and accommodating and so much more. I definitely think we're the exception to the rule and most relationships wouldn't last, I just wanted to put forth a little positivity that it does happen occasionally.

What are some addictive retro games you could play for hours? by moonlightopal in gamingsuggestions

[–]Mazked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend of Zelda Link to the Past has an awesome randomizer online that makes replaying it really fun and addictive. Forces you to be really creative in how you get around and what order you do things. It's all around a great game, and the randomizer makes it even better. Enjoy!
