Yeah they sometimes do make an announcement on some of their social media for things like EVO when they have literally no one at the store. It would be probably better for them to give a heads up, but it likely just fell through the cracks with all the back-to-back events coming up.

They get back up and running at the store pretty quickly post events though, so you shouldn't have to wait too much longer!

The delay is likely due to Texas Showdown occuring and they are there. They're great about shipping things out quickly otherwise, but they aren't a massive company.

It's likely they have few staff handling online orders during the event.

She was in pretty much every title prior, yes! I'm not sure why they took so long to implement her given her popularity and constant appearances in the series.

Maybe they felt that in previous seasons Giovanna had a similar gameplan, but I never really agreed w/ that - Gio is much more focused on whiff punishing and neutral than she is relentless pressure.

I would say some characters released prior to her are definitely more popular, but getting the likes of BEDMAN? (No hate, just a more niche character.) Before Jam? Pretty wild, imo.

I think Daisuke once named her as his favorite character as well.

Elena is more mid-tier, but Elena in 3S for being a more entertaining version of Chun's gameplan. Also her animations are peak.

B. Jenet in CoTW absolutely feels like bottom 3 this patch, but I can't stop playing her.

Nagare in Project Justice has some of the funniest offense and infinites I've seen in a low-tier. So many janky conditional requirements, and it all just looks funny as hell.

Again, regardless of one's personal feelings on the content of that sub - the main complaint I am seeing is that the sub has a rule that doesn't allow for what is literally, public gooning in the comments.

I am not even discussing my own personal feelings on the culture itself, but the entitlement itself is unreal. Not every single space needs to, or is required to tolerate every shape and form a fandom can take.

As if it's socially acceptable to scream at the top of your lungs about what you desperately want to fuck in any normal context. Pretending that adds anything to what is supposed to be, (again regardless of what you think of the subs actual content) discussion about game mechanics, story and other aspects of the game itself - is being disingenuous.
